Only 4 left at Wakefield now since the others at Wakey went to Hecky Indeed, I saw onw on route 200 on Friday early evening. The other reason I was so pleased to ride the Olympus is that their journeys into Leeds seem hard to predict. I think it's the same with the ones at Wakey, they appear on any Leeds route but I'd avoid of one on the 110 as the chances are low compared to the other leeds wakey routes.

I thought you might have gone to Selby to try and get on an Evolution! Since they are in new Arriva Livery I did see at least 1 in York, though not at the right time to ride it. But yes, these are distinctive.

Ironically, the lack of new buses for Arriva generally is now giving them a more varied fleet than average.

I can see a new order within the next 2 years or so to get rid of all of the commanders. They will be 15-16 years old by then. I gather delays to the divestment of Arriva by DB, and the fall in passenger traffic due to Covid and lockdown restrictions, is causing vehicle orders to be shelved for the time being.

Anyone know what is happening to 791,794 and 795? Surely they cannot go to Tiger as well. E200 is on my local route this morning which is a disgrace by Arriva and not appropriate., they could be using the versas now if Tiger have 2, no excuses for them not to use them. right wind your neck in. The versas 791-795 at the moment will have the same capacity as the little e200s at present with the luggage racks still been in place. Wakefield have got the E200MMCs straight out too with a capacity of 17 which is same as the little e200s and that's only a couple of seats less than the Pulsars, Eclipses and Commanders. Even Tigers 616 & 617 have 2 seats more than them. Just be grateful that the route is running. For all you know the planners will have had a good cause to put 1005 out on the 187 that we the general public aren't even privvy to. You've got 1311 on the 187 too according to bustimes. The board 1005 is on may also have flexability to accomodate it been on if that's less busy than 1311's duty.

It isnt arriva fault. When you change the seats in a bus by taking out luggage racks and putting new seats in it needs to get a new test done by the authoritys and they are waiting for that and it was ment to be done by the beggining of september but they havent come yet. Was a bit surprised to see two at tiger but i can only guess they are loaning them? There is definitly one repainted in sapphire colours ready for 168 service

My post earlier was definitely out of line and I do apologise. I realise now it isn't Arriva's fault, but I don't think about what I say. I'm guessing Castleford still need 1311/1312 until the new Versas are in service, that is why 2 Versas have being loaned to Tiger until the other 2 tempos can leave permanently. New seats in? I thought the seats was fine as it is for Sapphire spec. Anyway can't wait to see one in Sapphire spec.

The same will be done eventually with 1070-1075

Anyway more seats the better.

1307 is back at Castleford. Saw it on the 188. I thought these was at Tiger. There is No commanders in use today at Castleford. Could that mean anything?

Some interesting developments going on today at Cas and a lot of bus swaps today.

Has anyone recently seen 1609 or 1613? Pretty sure Penfold said 1613 was tracking as 1460 on bustimes, I believe IIRC. Could be wrong

If it was a Olympus it would get fixed, but I don't think it will get fixed, I think it will cost more to fix it than the vehicle's worth! Looks nasty! Will get stripped for spares I imagine for the 06 plate ones. Hope the driver and passengers are okay! This might sound stupid but is there anyway they could take the parts from 1621 and put it in 1600 or 1607 to possibly get it working again? I don't know if that's possible as I am no mechanic? Photo is on Flickr if you want to see it

Photo is on Flickr if you want to see it 1600 is heavily stripped (interior more than exterior) so 'may' make sense to use to the rest of that (and other stripped examples at other depots) to repair 1621, provided it is economically viable. Also depends on who would be paying to have it repaired ! Penfold
