Does anyone know if 3020 is at Wakefield now from Tiger or whatever it was? As apparently it's on the 148? It was still in Halifax yesterday and is still tracking there today

I had the pleasure of travelling in 1072 yestserday on the 149 and noticed the Bus Stopping casing above the AV screen had been removed and Stopping had just been written on in Marker on light itself. Is this the same on the rest of the Flying Tiger E200MMCs and i'm wondering if its the same on the Versas?

The maintenance of the tiger buses is truly shocking if the ones we have at Selby are anything to go by. I honestly can’t believe Arriva and tiger are the same company, it’ll take some time for the Arriva garage staff to get these upto standard.

Does anyone know where 667 is? As I am guessing they are waiting for it to be in service and possibly sending 1409 to Wakefield? Does anyone also have an idea when the E200 mmcs could have their luggage racks removed and possibly for a repaint and is there any update for the versas? Sorry so many questions!

According to bus times 1450 is at Selby? Surely this cannot be right or unless it's there to cover for the Gemini's for the York CAZ.

I’m sure it’s been said quite a few times now that Selby loan vehicles from Castleford on a frequent basis.

The engineering side at Selby is under Castleford so if Selby is short for any reason we use buses from Castleford hence 1450, which will return once Selby has enough available buses.

Its been mentioned countless times in this forum that Selbys maintenance is done by Cas, so its very highly likely that Selby are to use Castlefords buses while Selbys are out of action

Reportedly many times in the past, selby is now a low cost depot. Therefore pretty much just a space to store busses because any mergers with castleford etc would just cost too much in dead mileage and wages for dead mileage to send busses up to selby to run the services there. So would be more beneficial to send the odd bus now and again to casleford for maintenance.

This may be typical, but as this looked intriguing I thought I'd share this. I don't have the other fleet numbers but the quintet of route 425/27 buses yesterday were all different types! These were
Olympus 1800 (which I rode) Lolyne Volvo B5LH Max Commander Flying Tiger Enviro 200-MMC

Would love great in Max Spec or Sapphire

Then as another Commander headed to Bradford, I therefore preferred to take a chance on another vehicle. Much as I like the Volvo B5LHs, the Olympus was more refreshing being comparatively rare.

Metroline, your comment has to be the best comment I've ever seen on this forum lol. could just imagine the answer from Arriva if such a question was asked, ''err, yes we do because it's all we've got and be greatful for your bus turning up sir, we could always leave the bus in the depot and cancel the service if you want''

The other reason I was so pleased to ride the Olympus is that their journeys into Leeds seem hard to predict.

Since they are in new Arriva Livery
