It will be interesting to see what happens with the acquired fleet; immediately there are a number of vehicles with clashing fleet numbers, some being ex Transdev vehicles so will those revert to their former fleet numbers. Then there a number of vehicles alien to the Transdev fleet, notably a number of Scanias more favoured by a Tockwith based operator.

Transdev have retained the (very) non-standard Enviro-bodied MANs that they acquired with the Pullman purchase, so if the buses are still sound then I don't think there's any reason to expect Transdev to ditch them just because they don't fit with the rest of their fleet elsewhere.

Maybe the report has been edited but it now says "Initially, the services will continue to operate out of their current depots, with the vehicles expected to move to a yet to be confirmed location in the next few months" so raising possibility of both Haslingden and Rochdale closing. According the latest WYIS fleetlist which now includes Rosso only 16 service vehicles are allocated to Haslingden with 84 at Rochdale.

From Rosso web site
Rosso Rovers can be used on Witchway between Rawtenstall and Burnley, and between Bentgate, Haslingden and Accrington on Red Express too. Transdev Gold season tickets and the Daytripper range of day tickets can now be used on all Rosso buses

Nice to see Transdev bringing back their own printed publicity, when many operators are dropping theirs.
Shows how close the Rosso image is to Transdev’s as you can’t quite tell if the timetables are in the current Rosso style or the Transdev take on it.

Nice to see on Twitter yesterday it was Alex distributing the new leaflets around the bus stations rather than a gang of people sticking Transdev logos on the buses as the first public act

The new timetable booklets are great, it's so good to see them still being produced. The Coastliner ones are great and I've seen a full rack on the bus of them emptied in a single journey. Even with an app etc nice to see it all printed out properly for reference.

WYIS fleetlist says that Burnley’s Streetlites will be heading to Rosso.
Bizarrely though their place at Burnley is said to be filled by reinstating old Y/HRN B10BLEs which if correct are older than the last two generation of buses used on Burnley locals.
This is also strange as whatever Rosso will be withdrawing are also newer than these B10BLEs

Might just be route branding for the 464 route with the Rosso red at the front.

The Transdev Go app includes the timetable for that service 464 along with the 467-469 and 482-484. Presumably others will appear! Really think its time it was split up into areas like the fares

First service change arsing from the extended ownership is that the Red Express (X41 Blackburn-Manchester) is to serve Ramsbottom.

I wonder if they might think about doing any more Cityzaps from either Bury or Rochdale to Manchester
