I believe Stotts have aquired another 05 reg Solo. Saw it this lunchtime heading into their Milnsbridge depot. Didn't get the reg no, as it was on trade plates.

Yeah, Sorry should have made myself clearer. I did mean those Plaxton bodied Merc's. The Dart's are all dedicated yellow school vehicles.

2013 was a landmark year for Stotts as they went fully low floor, finally replacing the last remaining Beavers.
Also of note in 2013 was the acquisition of Dart V618EVU which carries standard livery, unlike the other full sized buses in the fleet. Does anyone know if this bus does any public journeys or is it basically a school bus?

They still have all the yellow step Dart's exclusively for schools. It is expected they will be kept until DDA D-day.

They are allegedly also getting some double decks for schools, although maybe they've gone with high capacity singles instead. There are 2 ALX400 in allover white pictured at their depot on the same flickr photostream on the link above.

Ex Dublin Bus Volvo B7TL ALX400s 01-D-70180 & 01-D-70182 have been purchased from Ensign & will be re-registered before use. It will be interesting to see how these compare with First examples in the area. My first visit to Dublin was in 2001, and when I went back there in June I only once saw an 01-reg ALX400 still in service there. Their ALXs were more comfortable than First examples, as are/were Arriva examples.
