N413 MBW is looking like it is not going to be fixed now as Repairs are going to cost more than the bus is worth, the engine & gearbox may be going in either J607 KCU or H138 MOB & The engine in Condor YJ57 NFF seized a few month ago & got sent to Cummins for repair, it has returned but is still not finished or on the road yet.

Yes, he is the part time HJC Ticket inspector. He does the odd bus driving work for HJC but it is quite rare. I don't think he does any work for K-Line, but he will know Andy that works for K-Line & is a member of the Museum and does a stall at the open days.

Yes you are right but he did drive part-time for K-line. He's only been with HJC for the past 12/18 months. He did do some driving for the Historic fleet in the past too.

- Dart 13 has been officially withdrawn as a 'write-off'. - Metrobuses KYV 643X and BYX 248V are due for imminent withdrawal, probably end of August at the latest. - Two replacement step-entrance Darts are due direct from Stagecoach. No delivery date yet finalised.

I'll tell you the step entrance Darts have proved one of the more reliable of buses in the HJC fleet. The Olympians are forever having problems, the Enviro200's are forever needing new parts & the MCW's are reliable but can still have a few problems, so they are ideal for £1,500 (Some step darts can be as high as £5,000 though)

Surely its better to start fleet replacement now than having to get lease agreements written up etc just before the deadline?

Due to a bus shortage, 7 buses are currently off the road, hence why they have bought 2 step darts in a rush.
