Painter lost his ladders or does he suffer from Vertigo. I alway thought you painted a bus from the top down. So no truth in the rumour it's going to become a single decker....

They would have asked for it to be like that just to make it look a bit better, like they have done with B162 WUL

They would have asked for it to be like that just to make it look a bit better whilst saving money, like they have done with B162 WUL Edited, presumably for accuracy.

They might do the top half themselves, they have plenty of paint to do it with.
& Open topper DTG 370V might be getting used as a spare bus this summer.

If they were going to do the top half themselves surely it would have been better to do that first before sending it away for the rest of it to be painted.

Wouldn't it have been easier to do the bottom half themselves?

Wouldn't it have been easier to do the bottom half themselves? No best to leave it all to the professionals, but it comes at a price.

Sorry that job just isnt right, all or nothing Makes you wonder if the JC within HJC stands for Joseph's Coat....... especially now the livery includes many colours

Bet their hoping people don't notice the upper deck, maybe this is a money saving scheme, all deckers to be painted this way should this be successful!

They are going to be painted eventually, they are on a 5 Year contract so will probably be painted after H693 PVW & N413 MBW gets painted. If they don't get done, they will have something done to them to make them look like a HJC bus.

If they don't get done, they will have something done to them to make them look like a HJC bus. They'd be better leaving them alone as the look reasonably respectable now, without scruffying them up and adopting a half arsed livery

I cant believe they painted only half of B217, it only emphasises more the faded scruffy paint on the top of it. HJC - Half Job Cowboys? It would be an idea to paint the Enviro's in Metro Green/Cream of the 70's & 80's like in the transition of Halifax JOC to Metro. There would be more people in Halifax that would remember those colours than the Green & Orange - and would only mean painting half the bus of which I'm sure they are good at now!

It actually looks better in real life than what it does on that photo.

Repairable I'm lead to believe. Hopefully they might put it in for repaint once the repair is done?
