Saw an un-branded one this morning in Birstall. Too far away to identify.

1051 was out on the 283 (unbranded) this afternoon. Also another couple was out too. Look very nice especially in front of an interurban ALX200. If only I had ma camera would have been a great shot!!!!

i have seen about half a dozen of them today on the 281/283 in&around dewsbury but only one was branded it says on the bus museum website 16 of the 17 buses will be route branded i assume this will be done later maybe there was a rush to get them in service

I had a ride on one of the branded ones and I was impressed by the quiet noise of these little machines very comfy to ride on. (well for now). I needed sunglasses when I got on it. The seats are more attractive than the previous seating. Gone have the green with yellow, yelow and white pattens. In comes Turquoise with orange, blue and green square motifs. Seats are well padded and hand rails are more of a creamy yellow than dayglow yellow!!! Also noted in the wheelchair area is an arm than comes down when a wheelchair is in place. The sort of rail u see at disabled toilets, one u pull down and put back up. Good Credit to Arriva! These buses are great inside and out and sound great! I would recommend you ride on these!

I had a ride on one yesterday (1051 I think) and I completely agree with you Gaz. Its the first time I have travelled with Arriva in about 4 years and I was very impressed at how much they have improved

All 17 have arrived by the middle of last week and I think by close of play yesterday all of them had entered service, although only circa half had the 281-3 branding applied

also noted as well as the smallest engine maybe have the smallest cab! the cab looks like a mobility scooter has been put in as there is not much of a dashboard. Looks alot tidier than all the junk that gets plonked in there!

I wonder if readers of the forum can help me here? Have these new Enviros Alexander Dennis bodies or Plaxton - or are they the same thing. I have looked through the website and in Buses but remain confused?

The production of the Enviro200 is carried out at Scarborough at the Plaxton facility but it is an ADL product.
