Couldn't get much worse than that one. I wonder if they are ever going to finish reprinting the last few buses still in Centrebus colours, or indeed completing the Tiger Blue refurbishments, or the Halifax presidents still in Arriva livery? Seems like they get 90% the way through these schemes quickly and then the last 10% takes years. Or 90% complete but 100% of budget spent Or could some of the Tiger Blues one be due to the loss of contracts and they could be on their way out, suppose this only applies for Tiger Blue. Loosing the ALX400 under the bridge didn't help could be lack of spare resources might also be getting in the way especially with the additional work from Geldards Arriva Yorkshire never seem to finish doing batches of vehicles so it runs in the family!

37300 at Hunslet park to repainted to replace 30843 Shame they haven't picked a Yorkshire registered one for this. Was hoping they were going to do one of the X63 ones as I see them every day.

Tates appear to be using an MPD SF04HXN (in all over white with red skirt) this evening. It was sat in Wakefield BS with an A4 piece of paper in the windscreen. Penfold Tates are still running this one complete with its DP seats, it still looks really tidy, I had to check thought it might be a new addition given its condition in Wakefield this morning. It couldn't last though a 12 plate with TAT in the letter spaces looked rather worse for wear, even the repaired skirt panels had been damaged before they got painted, given some sharp edges it even looked dangerous, what a contrast when an identical Ross Travel example followed TAT out of Wakefield Bus Station. Some operators can run exceptionally presentable buses then there is Tates I don't see Tates vehicles that often. I was in Wakefield the other week and saw a couple of Darts. They were a disgrace, this operator has to have the worst turned out vehicles I have seen in a long time. Dirty, many damaged panels, different coloured panels, what a mess they looked. Not surprisingly very few passengers on them. One of them tried to do a u turn using the mini roundabout outside the bus station. I could see that wasn't a good idea as it was quite a long Dart. The driver ended up blocking the whole road then couldn't get it in gear! Took a few minutes to get it pointing the right way!

Does that bus even have guide wheels on because it would need them to be on the 363 Don't think so. I've seen the odd other non guide wheel vehicle on this. I guess they just use the normal section of road.

Good selection of vehicles running. Will be good to see 526 again, the last time I saw it was years ago at Bolton depot in Stagecoach stripes! I have a photo of it alongside 525 also in Stagecoach stripes.

Anyone go to Keighley yesterday, I thought it was a bit pricey with £3 admission and a further £3 for the programme Yes I went. I can understand they are trying to raise money, but yes £6 is pricey compared to Dewsbury. The programme isn't very good for £3! The event didn't seem as well organised as the Dewsbury ones, a few people we making comments that they would like to have known the vehicle allocations for the services. The museum was better set up inside than last time, you could take photos much easier this time, the stands didn't obstruct the vehicles. It was an enjoyable day over all.

Can't see it being an operator with very many vehicles. He couldn't afford to keep the small SGI fleet, so can't see him having the finance to buy anything much bigger.

Anyone know what the B9TL's are for.
Would make sense to put them on the X63 as the 54 reg B7TL's on that are hammered now & cascade the older ones to replace the Royales.

there are no more transfers from Bury going to happen at the moment as Bury are short of buses and with sale of First Devon to Stagecoach frees up buses from there Not much worth cascading from the Devon operation. Still a lot of older end stuff running there.
