Has anyone noted what loadings are like on the 40/40A, 86 and 91/91A in their new improved forms?

91A seemed dead at around 6pm this evening, it does go through the traffic lights to turn around (some how) and waits to turn right onto Harehills Lane

Let's sort this out once and for all! On Roundhay Road northbound between the Harehills Lane and Easterly Road junctions there is a U-turn facility. Therefore to St. James' the 91A turns left from Harehills Lane into Roundhay Road, through the U-turn then on to Harehills Road. To Pudsey it obviously again uses the U-turn then turns right on to Harehills Lane.
Out of interest, where abouts along the route was the 91A seen to be 'dead'?

Yeah you got how it turns around Craig.
It was dead coming down from St. James up to Chapel Allerton, only saw 1 person on it. 91 wont be affected passenger wise i dont think.

It would seem that the route description above the service 90 timetable is incorrect. The 90 does not run along Cross Green Lane back up to the Bridgefield, but along Aire Valley Way (part of the new East Leeds Link Road). The real time info system and stop timetables confirm this, and indeed the bus I was on earlier went this way.

There is a timetable for the 90 on Cross Green Lane, opposite the knocked down school. I wish Metro would for once get ALL changes right! There's always something wrong when buses, or trains change.

That's odd, since there's also one at the stop on Aire Valley Way on the corner of Pontefract Lane (opposite, but not outside Yorkshire Produce) and the real time info data seems to support this version of events as I said. That and the driver went this way earlier. I suspect that this is correct.

Metro - Here to get you waiting a long time for phantom buses! The stop on Cross Green Lane, opposite the knocked down school, also has times for the 61!!!! This service in the route description uses the bypass/link road and can not possibly (without diverting a good bit off route) use Cross Green Lane. The 446 is shown on the timetable opposite the Queens at Sturton, even though the bus does not run on Wakefield Road, Many services are shown as having no Monday to Friday service, saturday and Sunday service!

i had that mysteriously for the 42, at the stop opposite beckett wing, the timetable for the 42, said no monday to saturday service, and all the times for sunday service below. Then the proper timetable with the usual frequency everyday appeared below this mistaken one. The good part it was taken down about a year ago, so no problems there.

In defence of Metro, I believe the 62 before the service changes was running via Cross Green Lane towards Leeds because the Cross Green Approach/Pontefract Lane junction has been made one-way. Therefore I assume at the time of press it wasn't known when the new section of the link road would be ready, so the route for the new 61, 62 and 90 would have to be via Cross Green Lane until the new road was available, which it of course now is.

The 62 was running via the new road before the changes-the section concerned has been open for some time now, it was only the bit from Thornes Farm Way to the M1 which first opened on Tuesday. Similarly, the 61 has operated via the new road ever since the changes and so it would seem has the 90.

For a short time I believe the 62 did run via Cross Green Lane before the new road opened and so presumably Metro haven't been up to date and published the new permanent route for these services. I know the section along Copperfields' old playing fields has been open for longer than the newest final section completed this week, although there have been some left/right turn restrictions around the Pontefract Lane junction which could at some point also have prevented the 62 going that way?
