Do Team Pennine and Arriva Dewsbury have any common ground? The very Wakefield end of the X1 at a push Nope as the only Arriva Routes Team Pennine come in direct contact with are 231/232 and 261 (255 at a push). Passengers will only benefit Mirfield side with Lyles/Longstaff 205. X1 doesn't meet Dewsbury routes at all since this set of changes. But it's the gesture that counts.

This is to do with September Service Change how? Temporary change due to Major incident as services will be impacted as no bus will have been able to get in to depot (apart from ones already in the yard) since 17:00 this evening.

Technically though depending how scaled back it was at 1am & risk to depot they could have been let in to refuel & back out. But all is fine has it has been scaled back further with investigators now in place. Noted 1am was just 2 fire engines & 1 Ariel appliance.

Team Pennine are temporarily suspending the 324, due to driver shortages, promising to be back soon with big exciting plans. Assume this is taking effect immediately. Well 324 is next big route for revamp/re-launch. It could ironically help Team Pennine by not running route 324 for now. It gives people on that route time to forget Yorkshire Tiger and think of Team Pennine, once they are back, as a quality new operator on the route.

Or they just get used to using the service run by First What I think is a pretty poor decision is that while the 319/360 have got loads of missing trips, with up to half or two thirds of the service not running, the “KirkheatonQuick” 262 that nobody relies on, as it’s new, is running normally

Just been looking at these 126 short trips on bustimes and they are pointless as each one leaves 6 mins after the vehicle on full route both times (from Ossett or Wakefield) so both the shorts will be running with a low number of passengers.

I believe it is to provide a combined service frequency at Horbury of every 7/8 mins with the 231/2 included.

Transdev are opertaing the shuttle service for the Harrogate Flower Show this Friday-Sunday, but with one big difference as it has being held not at the showground but at Newby Hall. Four services a day (three on Sunday) start and end at Harrogate with the shuttle running at 20 minute intervals to and from Ripon. Not well proofed with a number of those at quarter to hour arriving at 25 past rather than 5 past. Sunday looks tight with the same timings meaning no recovery or loading time if only 3 vehicles are being used. images.transdevbus.co.uk/downloads/Flower%20Show%20Shuttle%20Web%20TT%2017-Sep-2021.pdf

I would assume they're using four buses hence the four positioning trips from Harrogate and four back at the end of the day, on Friday and Saturday at least. Maybe they'll run one up out of service on Sunday.
I know they always run this service but I would have expected them to subcontract it this year in view of not being able to operate their regular timetables at the moment.

Which makes it a very strange cancellation. I get there are alternatives, but cutting a route in full just before you re-launch it is like shooting yourself in the foot, before running a 100m sprint. True. But around Easter (so still tiger) it was 319 dropped and 324 apart from late trips although this time it seems to be 324 in full and presumeably 321 & 323 as well as they weren't listed. Services 323 & 321 are still running as they are tenders Looking on bus times they ran the 323 this morning by taking the bus that was running the 319 off to run it, leaving a gap of 2 hours in the latter service right across morning peak (the other buses that should be running the 319 didn’t appear until after the school run out)

If bustimes is right 1801 is the only vehicle used yesterday being used today - the others are Plaxton Panther YX19MMF which is listing as being Keighleys 303, Metrocity demonstrator 301 from Blackburn and Boo Bee Bus Enviro 400 YX19 ONU listed as 302 (it had been used by Blackburn in 2019 for trials on the X43)

Bored of the obsessiom with P&R services only serving the south of the city centre. Doesn't anyone work in the northern areas? I wouldn't use the service if I had to walk up Albiom Street everyday in the winter. PR1 serving Wellington Place is good, are they going to use the office road off Wellington Street, rather than Whitehall road? I think it would be good if PR services at least could do a boar lane, Park Row, Headrow , Vicar Lane Loop - clockwise or anti-clockwise They’re missing out on serving the main areas of Leeds Spotted one of these while waiting for the 65 towards Beeston on Aire Street (before heading back towards the Novotel, because you don't know that the 55/55C/65/75 aren't calling at S12 now until you get there and see the notices. They still show on real time).
PR1 calls at Wellington N (something like S17 previously) on its way out of Leeds, so not exactly; then down to Domestic Street;then it doubles back on itself, down Sydenham Street and on to the Ingram Road Distributor to "Elland Road Interchange". In the future, when City Square is closed off they will have to make their way ot via Informary Street and King Street, so a stop on Infirmary Street might happen, goving a shorter walk northwards. Then again, if M621 J2a closes as was suggested PR1 might come in via Wellington Street of Whitehall Road, up East Parade, down Park Row and out the same way, so who knows?
I haven't been down to the hallowed turf for a while, but is there now a bus stop behind the south stand? Google Maps thinks so. It also hasn't repositioned the former stop on the west of Bobby Collins Way to the east of it, where the waiting room is. And that change happened about five years ago...

Yeah they put a stop behind the stadium it currently serves the vaccination centre
