Bradfield? If a bus can do that distance in an hour then I won't be travelling, bus of death lol. Otley to Bradford in an hour sounds ok, so long as the price is right. I think Transdev are trying to capture both savvy bus users like me through the A3, and those not bothered about money by way of the Otley to Menston station bus connecting to Bradford trains from there. I do wonder why the A3 takes a whole 12 minutes longer going towards Bradford. Part of it might be down to the Bradford bound having to go back on itself on the Guiseley Circuit, perhaps the drivers will do Airport-Bradford-Otley-Airport which could increase the wait time at the Airport (unless it's the same wait time, I haven't really looked at it)

The main discrepancy comes between Pool and the Airport – from the Airport to Pool takes 6 minutes, but from Pool to the Airport arrival time takes 14 minutes. The bus then has a 5-minute wait at the Airport before setting off, so it isn't as though that 14 minutes includes padding for to give that waiting time. I know you can get long queues coming up Pool Bank, but allowing an extra 8 minutes in one direction seems a bit excessive there, especially when it the next stop has a 5-minute wait as well ... 19 minutes from leaving Pool to leaving the Airport.

Blazefield Wharfedale Links changes from 21 February A dashing bus, new look and new link in Otley as the 965 extends to create a quick connection from Weston, Wharfedale Hospital & the town centre to the rail network at Menston from next month. In addition, Flyer A3 is apparently being extended to Otley to replace the 62 which is to be cut back to Keighley - Ilkley only. I think this means the only routes serving the Airport will be routes A1, A2 & A3. Good idea having a regular Bradford - Otley route again.

Might there be a summary published on the Metro website?

I note that there is still no summary bulletin on the Metro website but some of the timetables have gone online. Does that mean the 20th is no longer an official Change Date because of the pandemic ?

There's still a bit of time yet though.

It's no longer an official change date due to most operators being in the middle of temporary timetables. There is only the 261/262/271 and the 62/784/962/965/A2/A3 changing

Right stop with knocking Metro. As Operators have been allowed flexibility to amend services (both routes & timetables) to factor in service levels for during pandemic with the lockdowns and tier systems things are changing on a regular basis and this has come from Government & DfT. This is the biggest challenge to the infrastructure and that takes in the wars & strikes. No-one can keep up with the changes. As for updates in regards for the snow & ice conditions they can only upload them as and when the operators start service and staff have even got in. The last several snowfalls all the operators have been updating the routes via social media. The councils, Emergency services & Highways England also have to update/liaise with operators to sort out the routes that need priority so again it takes time which is again out of Metro's control. The most recent snowfalls Arriva's depots at Dewsbury & Heckmondwike couldnt get the vehicles out for a while and will have only sent out certain members of staff on route assessment doing risk assesments for staff & passenger safety. There's a bigger factor to think of instead of blaming Metro.

When the information is already out there, as in timetables are available, then Metro must get it's rear end into gear and publish the changes now. Tonight, I've had a good look, and there are a shed load of First Huddersfield services with new timetables from mid Feb on the First website, ironically new timetables for First Leeds services from Feb have appeared on the Metro website, but no summary of the changes. I've previously seen Transdev, and Yorkshire Tiger publish changes well in advance before Metro finally do, the day before the change! This slackness is not on, not on for workers relying on information in advance because like me, not everyone uses one bus a day between two locations. I'm city wide, and sometimes county wide for work reasons. It's also not on for those like me who aren't staying at home in their own time, I'm more than delighted to say I've sussed the quietest journeys to the quietest locations for walks. Oh, and before someone goes off topic and bleats on that I'm putting people at risk, I'll end that diversion now by saying once and for all beyond a shadow of any doubt the following - err, not if I choose quiet days/locations to walk. Right, back to topic, as in I'm not replying to any more diversions.

Right, back to topic, as in I'm not replying to any more diversions. the timetable "changes" by First, Arriva/Tiger, TLC, Transdev, Connexions, Watersons & Stagecoach that have been issued are temporary changes with the pandemic. The only changes coming up that are permananent are the Wharfedale routes run by Transdev, Flyer route A3, Arriva 261 & 271 changing with the 261 been extended from Mirfield to Huddersfield to partially replace Tiger's withdrawing 262 and First still operating their few tendered trips on 262 on an evening. The only route where the "reduced timetable is permanant is 784. Metro have the changes listed under the covid page on the travel alerts. I'm a keyworker you uses the bus every so often at the moment and use both social media and Metro website to keep up to date on what's happening with timings/changes and i have numerous colleauges in same boat. I also know people who work for the operators who can be affected with the changes too. Metro is very handy in my job role for when there's delays on the roads as it helps with the planning of the work and impacts it has. Everyone is trying their damnedest in this pandemic and it is ACTUALLY a logistical nightmare for the vast majority of key sectors. And if Metro were to try and even publish the changes since March 2020 the document size would be massive and not only constant crash their website but also the devices of those downloading them. And you also can't to printed version of it as the leaflet would be the size of War & Peace hence why they've stopped papertables at stops & shelters and they are only in Bus & Train Stations.

If there's so few actual timetable changes, it won't be too tricky to publish them in a pdf file will it? These changes are just over a week away.
Metro have still not been able to tell me what the correct times are for the 900/1. I've been asking them since Jan 29 - they have contradictory timetables with the same change date. I'm not expecting instant corrections, but a fortnight seems plenty to take an incorrect timetable off their website.

Abit of speculation but I'm guessing the 7/7a/7s will not be stop at Vicar Lane V6 no more. So the 51/52 should stop there instead of the headrow Then allow the 56 to stop on the headrow where the 51/52 uses to stop instead of Eastgate to solve the congregation around there due to how close the bus stops are as well as the frequency of the buses and the difficulty or overtaking there.

It will be interesting having Transdev 7 and First 7 both using same stop. 11 and 11A being rerouted then. I can't see 11A coming along Headrow and making the left turn up VL.

I've died of shock, Metro have published a summary of *almost all* changes for February under the service changes page, no surprises as it's all what we already know, although there are a few small route changes in Bradford for TLC services. They have missed off a few of the Briggate services, hence the almost all lol.

From Monday 22 February 2021 the 629 will serve Tesco Supermarket, Great Horton on 3 journeys a day, Monday to Saturday, bus will arrive and depart from the taxi rank in Tesco car park, operating in a clockwise direction. Service to no longer run on Westcroft Road.

I note that there is still no summary bulletin on the Metro website but some of the timetables have gone online. Does that mean the 20th is no longer an official Change Date because of the pandemic ? When it was mainly paper updates, these were usually put on the shelves only the Thursday before the new timetables were to start.

However Metro's Changing Times makes no mention of 11/A changing.
