774 has entered service and I believe 775 has too (haven't seen 775) on the 83/84s, they look quite nice. They have white destination board at the back and front and im guessing the side too? And it has something at the top too, which the Denby darts don't have and it only has one white destination board which is at the front. the incoming ones from Nottingham have air-con and have indeed had all 3 deatis changes to white.

Abit coincidental that today, the x1 had all tempo's. First time in many months. Usually the PVR would be 1 tempo, with a B7RLE and E20D. Hopefully this is a more common sight. Would like E20Ds on the 502. On April 23rd there was an Eclipse (in Pride of the North livery) and IIRC 2 Tempos. I even had to let the Eclipse go so that I could catch a Tempo.

You're a brave man Metroline. Far less chance of a Volvo Eclipse breaking down and leaving you stranded than the 3 "Holmfirth Explorer" branded Tempo's H5/6/7XPL which have proven to be notoriously unreliable.

In complete fairness, when they decide to not break down, they are pretty smooth and quiet! However, I am never getting on that route ever again. I did not expect it to take that long

Are you sure I'm a man? Yes I am, and joking aside .... What helped a bit was that I had seen a Tempo heading the other way from my D1 bus ride and felt confident it would come next. It had been a priority ride anyway.

I didn't note the other one I spotted, although there was 1 in Waterloo depot when I passed it on the way.

Tempo 1408 wasn't Arriva bought so it was looked after more in the centrebus operations until 2013. The vehicle was still decent until 2016 but after that Yorkshire Tiger took a turn for the worst. Honestly, I believe Arriva should look after their vehicles alot more. You can see the Enviro 400 MMCs purchased in 2017 are already in a right state for a vehicle that is only five years old.

I rode MMC 1980 last Saturday and found it reasonable inside, if a bit bland compared to some Team Pennine buses. It's just the livery that made it look old. Once Team Pennine have completed the fleet refurbishment or replaced, Transdev could have the smartest fleet in West Yorkshire.

At the moment, for Halifax I believe Transdev are standing still until August 2023, as most of Calderdales if not all contracts are tied with the opening of the new redeveloped Halifax Bus Station. There could be contract losses or gains, nobody has an idea atm.

Even the refurbishment of Solos seems to have lost impetus for now.

Passed Waterloo depot today and noticed an E200 (YX13---) and a Solo (YJ59---) both in TP pink, but as yet unbranded. Sorry couldn't get the last three digit's of reg no's.

Is it possible that 728-730, 1408 and 1867 could permanently move to Elland for when the 5 new Enviro 200 from Nottingham City Transport arrive? As I have been noticing 728, 1408 and 1867 in Halifax on Halifax routes as well as 730 on a bunch of the 343/534 rotation. 729 has been out of service for a bit so it could transfer? This as these are all five vehicles and Waterloo is gaining 5 buses.
