It has been confirmed by Paul that the Enviro 200s heading to Team Pennine are for Waterloo. By the looks of it, there are no single decker buses to replace at Waterloo now, so this could mean frequency boosts on Denby Darts or possibly an exstention to Barnsley. I don't think it is an exstention for Barnsley but it is possible. This could also be why the D1 timetable is changing for April 2022. You are living in a dream world if you think the D1 will get a frequency boost There are on paper no Team Pennine livery buses for the 83/84 as yet, they only see Team Pennine buses because of frequency reductions on service 319, and there is also the question over whether the 324 will return By frequency boost I meant upgrading 83 and 84 to DenbyDarts and then making them every hour each.

As well as this, Optare Solo 178-YJ59NPP is due for scrap. My friend is upset about this as it was his favourite Team Pennine bus.

It may get some school bus stickers, But i can't see them repainting a 20 year old bus which must be on borrowed time. ( Just my opinion ) Alex literally said it will be refurbished. 2201 YG52 CFX So much for a refurbishment looks like its been withdrawn not worked for ages and also scrubbed from bustimes.

You know when buses are refurbished that they spend some time off road? Also 1408 took 4 months to arrive back from refurbishment, considering that it is a double decker it will take longer.

I am considering coming to Huddersfield on Easter Monday. This may be too much to hope for, but I'd like to ride one of the modern Mellor minibuses on route 537 or 547. I am prepared that the routes may run from Waterloo rather than Elland though. Oh, something good on the Team Pennine website is that, when I looked up one of the timetables and changed the date to April 18th, they already knew it was a Bank Holiday and had Sunday (all day) times displayed.

The 536/7 and 547 are mostly run from Waterloo presently. A mix of Solos and E200MMC on Sundays.

Also to the above, the services that the Mellors run on pretty much run the same frequency 7 days a week, so it isn’t as if there are loads free on a Sunday to spill out onto other routes.

Thank you both for your answers. In the plausible scenario that I ride a classic E200 on route D1 and a Tempo on route X1, a Solo or E200-MMC on a Sunday route would be ideal. If it's a Solo I could seek an E200-MMC on a local route in Huddersfield.
I am planning to postpone Halifax until the bus station has been refurbished.

The fleet would probably be entirely different by then. The bus station won't open until August 2023.

I would sample the early changes to Team Pennine under Transdev in Huddersfield shortly, then the full fleet upgrade in Halifax once the bus station is fully modernised later next year.

One of the Five Enviro 200s entering service are heading for Waterloo soon and the fleet is numbered 775. I have to take a guess that the Rosso Batch would be numbered 761-770 and then the Team Pennine batch 771-775. Also 181 has now been refurbished. I have seen it in the distance in Halifax however have not been on it or seen it as of yet.

Link to twitter: I wonder if they'll be allocated to the 319, in which case they'll never need to leave the depot lol.

Probably so, just every time I've been for one it hasn't shown up The 324 might be coming back so they could be used on the 324. And judging by the 728-730 keep ending up on Elland routes them buses could move to Elland and these Enviro 200s could replace them or maybe there could be contract gains in future. Maybe full custody of 327, 356 and 358.

the buses are apparently ex NCT Yes they are. Alex took a photo of them before refurbishment. Also there will be some Omnidekas for Schools/Public service for Team Pennine and Transdev Harrogate.

There's at least one of the pink liveried YX63 E200's now at Waterloo ready to enter service.
