Unlike last year where they used unibus and York single decks, I suppose this year they will be able to use the Cityzap buses.

Doing a quick comparison to last year and the Boxing Day services are literally identical to 2015 except the following
Arriva 150 Wakefield to Pontefract now runs alternate 148/149 but to the same timetable
Arriva 185 Wakefield to Pontefract via Castleford now runs 189 Wakefield to Castleford and alternate 184/187 Castleford to Pontefract but all to the same timetable
The Harrogate Bus Company 36 now runs to/from Ripon
Transdev York 843 runs up to 7 minutes earlier but same timetable otherwise
The Keighley Bus Company 662 starts 30 mins earlier with one extra trip, 760 starts 1 hour earlier with two extra trips and the 66/K3/K7/K9 run the same number of trips and frequency but to new times.
All First, Yorkshire Tiger and other Arriva services are the same as in 2015

Anyone know if First Bradford is opening for business this Boxing Day or whether we'll see Bramley buses in Bradford again?
Hopefully the 626 will actually be able to serve Baildon this year, last year it had to terminate at Shipley due to flooding at Baildon Bridge.

Boxing day services - If it's owt like previous years metro usually set the prices one single fare and a day ticket which can be used on all operators in West Yorkshire. Was it like £2 single and £3.50 All day last year?

843 is running with standard Coastliner Geminis, with York Drivers.

For the first time on a Boxing Day I visited Wakefield to observe the operations, and I have to say the organisation was a shambles. In other towns the bus stations are open, or at least you get a sheltered stop with a real time display.
In Wakefield all services stop at a bus stop pole with no timetable, some buses were even departing from the opposite side of the road double parked alongside the taxi rank. It was random which side of the road each bus would depart from.
Arriva must try harder next time.

In Halifax today. Surprised that TJ Walsh seem to be running a normal weekday service on all their commercial routes despite no mention of this in Metro publicity.

Think it would fall at Metro's door for the planning of the termini. They're the paying the subsidies after all. It would also be Metro that paid Arriva to open their station on boxing day, so can't see that happening any time soon.
