I saw the 29 a couple of times today, using a vehicle on loan from Bradford.

I still think this LOT and Arriva arrangement over tendered 252,223,212 is a bit odd, especially if the WYCA have had no say in the matter.

Well it seems one member on here (joefell) knows something else, and if what he said is exactly right then it looks like this deal has been done without the say so of WYCA. Here is the members quote - As i work for part of the management team at LOT, I know that we have contacted Arriva directly and they have agreed to take on the work. This has been done with Jeanette and Nigel Featham directly and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority have had no say in the matter.

And that was put on today.

Can you point me in the direction of that note on the Arriva website?

All I can find: These journeys will be provided with financial support from Metro and are currently operated by LOT. All Arriva Day, Week, 4 Week and Annual tickets will be valid on these services from this date. but there is no reference to the existing journeys already being operated by Arriva on a commercial basis and for good measure what Metro have to say about the changes: From Monday 26 September, Arriva Yorkshire will run the evening and Sunday journeys on services 212, 223 and 252 instead of Ladies Only Travel (LOT). www.wymetro.com/travelnews/busalerts/Change-of-operator/

Not documented as far as I can see are two minor changes which took place in September.
Services 40 and 56 both had a small frequency reduction to every 9 mins during the day, reducing the PVR by 1 on each route.
Service 11E appears to have dropped the Galloway Lane extension and starts/finishes at Pudsey Bus Station.
