Agreed. Also, when mistakes appear they seem to be corrected faurly quickly so i think the criticism is a little harsh. One thing ive wondered about Keighley's 500 is how Transdev seem to be missing a trick. Its one thing putting Streetlites with BronteBus branding on, but the route between Oxenhope and Hebden Bridge is very scenic. Seems to me, highlighting the scenic element and how there is an upstairs and transferring in a couple of Gemini's with branding could make it a tourist route bringing in additional revenue? I've thought this for years since Transdev took over, replacing First which generally used deckers. Even using Presidents, in between their booked school runs, plus during weekends and school holidays would be a start.

Do you get the WYIS list emailed as that on the web site is still yesterdays? Dart 705 was presumably meant to be heading to York/Keighley/Starbeck earlier this year as its been running round Burnley telling people to look for the Yorkshire M-ticket app

Even using Presidents, in between their booked school runs, plus during weekends and school holidays would be a start. Since last September the Presidents have become less frequent on schools except for typically where they later work a public service. When the extra bus was added to the 696/7 cycle in April this was allocated a President, to work alongside the 8 on 760 and one on 66. I'm not sure what their daily availability is, but this is 10 boards for 13 vehicles (although I have a feeling 2 Presidents work the 697s now). If Keighley are to gain the Coastliner B9s this should enable all Presidents to be removed from the 760 and possibly transferred on to schools

I did post a few months ago all the presidents would be concentrated on Keighley, so makes sense. Just 2706 at Burnley, 439/40 & 2702 from Lancashire to go. Can't imagine the B9s from coastliner will ever make it to Keighley, after over 12 years since the first Gemini arrived with Blazefield none have ever seen the light of day in Keighley except rarely visiting on the mainline.

The Versa's are for 66 to Skipton, refurbished B7RLE's for 762 and the 765 was abolished when the 762 was rerouted through Silsden. Thank you for your clarification. I'm sure I saw on this thread that Transdev are due some new single-deckers for Blackburn later this year. Do you or anyone have more details?

I notice it also shows York's Omnicity single deckers as to be withdrawn and sold.
Wondered how long they'd last being nonstandard.

If the WYIS list is right its interesting that 13 B10BLEs that will become withdrawn will be retained for "cascade" or "potential cascade" and only 10 will actually be disposed of (all Lancs Utd ones).

Keighley MyBus fleet needs updating, lots of R/T/V/W reg on last legs apparently so could see Y reg cascaded there? For possible cascade are H&D 305/6/8, K&D 1048/9/52/61/63/77/78, LU 1014/64/68/88/89/92 which is 16 for possibly 208/9/10, 530/31, 540 - 544, 561, 1001 - 1004, 1129, which is also 16?

Omnicity 1109 service days with Transdev came to an abrupt end yesterday when 1013 got too close and ripped the offside rear lights off. The fitter sent to recover 1109 was overheard to say it wouldn't be repaired since it was due to come off on Monday.

I can't imagine it being worth the expense of converting those buses into school buses just for the sake of moving 1 registration letter newer. The Y reg probably have more miles on the clock anyway as they've been in use in daily all day service much longer.

I can, they got all the Y regs in from Lancashire a few years ago to replace the X regs!

31 May WYIS list - 703 and 1065 still shown at Harrogate despite now presumably being surplus; now covering repaints? Still only 1837 (NIS), 3613 and 3614 in the new livery. 2763 confirmed on loan at Malton. Omnicities 1109 and 1110 confirmed as withdrawn for disposal.

Tweet from Alex says new solo now at Keighley That interior is awful, outside livery is awful. Why does it have a different interior to the rest of the refurbs?I wish they'd have done the new two colour livery in the current Green and Blue, that would have looked much better. What's with the green floor? Tacky or what. Don't get on my back, I love the Keighley fleet and Alex Hornby's changes but this is just execrable.

In Keighley today, I noticed almost every bus has got a new destination font/ style. President 2711 was displaying 'Shipley, then Leeds' similar to 770 and 36.
