If 2763 went to Malton it's now back at Harrogate and on 36 today! According to WYIS it is to go to Malton for the Summer rather than having already gone there. Not entirely certain WYIS have everything right, the Darts down as going to York in June are surely those for the epic combined 56/142/143 "Little Explorers" which begins towards the end of this month.

Following the LCC cuts, Burnley's solos will now be surplus to requirements.

Notice its now corrected the date of Darts 706 and 707 to York as being late May which ties in the Little Explorer when presumably 714 will have been repaired by and at a guess 703 will transfer as well from Starbeck. Slightly odd that it has 1255 and 1256 on loan at Starbeck but still listed in the In Store section, one of them now apparently in store there.

When a bus leaves one depot, is out of service for a while, and then turns up at another depot, and you only have one transfer date to play with, whatever is put is half wrong. Technically you could say these Darts are at York now, but out of service.

By the end of June, Solo 9.9m 150 - 153 due for Keighley. Versa 11.7m 238 - 243 also for Keighley, 220 -238 for Lancashire (238 listed twice but LU due 18 so assume should read 220 - 237). Keighley's LU liveried 706/707 getting repainted for York with 714 (Haworth accident victim) being repaired for York. LU Gemini's 402 - 404 down for repaint for Keighley. Coastliner showing due 430 - 437, 442/3 Wright/Volvo B5TL due September . Source the ever useful WYIS. These new buses for Keighley could enable me to go there on the August Bank Holiday, provided they run Sunday routes. I reckon the Versas are for routes 762 & 765 and the Solos for local services.

With there only being 4 are they to just work alongside the Darts or will they be allocated specific routes?

Indeed, those solos are a strange one. Only time will tell.
I would have preferred them to sort out the Burnley Connect services that are run by three generations of buses, streetlites, some of the previous versas because not enough streetlites were purchased, and the even older darts, as too many versas were transferred out.

It would be logical to transfer the 2 Keighley Streetlites to Burnley, quite often there's standing passengers on the 500 and the full size singles coped for years without issue. Haven't Burnley had a reduction in PVR since one of the local routes was cut back from Boundary Mill? If so, that could mean there could be enough Streetlites and Darts for the Burnley locals The Solos for Keighley could be suited to the 719 depending on their seating capacity, but that only requires 2 buses. They could be for the 846/847 as the Darts aren't as reliable as they used to be and when one breaks down it often leads to the cancellation of the service for 1-2 hours whilst a replacement is sent from Keighley - not ideal when the service is hourly.

PVR on Burnley locals is 14. They have 9 streetlites, 4 versas and 5 darts, a right mismatch of ages and quality of vehicle.
I doubt the solos would be for the 845/846, I wouldn't have thought they'd buy new buses for a tender half way through the contract.

Ah, wasn't sure how long the 847 contract was for. Could these new vehicles see the end of the 08 B7s? Seem to remember these are leased rather than owned like the B10s and 1843-1850 + 1823/25 would match the numbers

Lease terms typically require vehicles to be returned in as supplied condition so repainting is not uncommon just before a vehicle goes off lease.

Another WYIS updated list 402-404 are not now at Keighley (were they ever?) but in store at Blackburn and are now to go to Burnley.
Lancs Utd B7s 1840-1842 which had disappeared off-lease from the list have reappeared in store at Blackburn and are now to be retained.

Seems odd if 402-404 would go to Burnley. I can't imagine any suitable work for them.
Edit: suggests they are for the X43, the list says 2751-2753 are not moving to Burnley and are staying at Blackburn.
Which would make sense had they not already moved to Burnley, repainted into Witch Way livery and in service.
Maybe they've uploaded the wrong PDF!

Who ever makes this page about fleet lists are doing so in their own time without reward for our benefit, using information from a company that changes its mind more than an elderly Dart changes gear. Maybe you could make your own "better"one before criticising others?

Agreed. Also, when mistakes appear they seem to be corrected faurly quickly so i think the criticism is a little harsh.
One thing ive wondered about Keighley's 500 is how Transdev seem to be missing a trick. Its one thing putting Streetlites with BronteBus branding on, but the route between Oxenhope and Hebden Bridge is very scenic. Seems to me, highlighting the scenic element and how there is an upstairs and transferring in a couple of Gemini's with branding could make it a tourist route bringing in additional revenue?

Updated list again today, 2751 - 3 not showing leaving burnley, 402 to 404 still heading to burnley, B9s 411 - 417/9/20 now apparently heading to Keighley later in the later (a rumour I heard 3 months ago). Some B10's and Darts identified as being cascaded when the versa's and solos arrive, versa's for service 66 & 719. Solos for 702/3/5/10. Not sure what happened to A64 crash victim 418, it was stored at Burnley then vanished of the fleet list, so assume it has been scrapped?
