The ex ay presidents n the v reg east lancs trident did NT last long then 896 the V reg got retired a few months ago and has gone to the scrap yard and has been with YT since it was Huddersfield Bus Company/Centrebus. The presidents more or less got withdrawn after 2 got fire at Elland depot and one crashed in Halifax whilst the other 2 880 & 881 ceased to be used once 831-834 transfered over to Waterloo after Leeds depot shut.

The v reg trident was nt a bad looking double decker tbh. Their was a am wanting to say Leyland/volco double decker parked up in the yard at honely about a year ago never saw it move out of their yard was that Neva in service?

The ex ay presidents did NT last long then The ex Selby Presidents would have arrived last year in time for the start of the school with a one year MOT. To obtain a further MOT it is possible that there are more cost effective options than retesting the Presidents. Rather than spend a significant amount on re testing one of your present fleet when you can pick up a couple of others of a similar specification for the same amount Smaller operators do this all the time.

It's been at Waterloo since June 905 has been photoed working out of Elland at the same time 906 was there on dalesbus. 905 is working out of Elland today, was only back at Waterloo a few days. Was on on the 20 this morning, Desti must not be programmed with the new route numbers as it had a paper number in the window.

Yeah I agree. The alot of the yt fleet looks tatty and could do with an upgrade. They need to start of by looking after and smarting up what they've currently got to work with again first and take pride in the fleet like they did originally.

The tiger fleet is not that old with over half the fleet 10 years old or younger.
The current average of the fleet is also less than 10 years, does anyone know how this compares with some of the other smaller local operators?

They cud do without the ex Arriva cast offs thou m travel seems to b picking them up now with 3 lowlanders n a trident alx400. Yt has some pretty decent single deckers b versas look gud aswell but wud NT mind seen a few more decent double deckers enter the fleet.

I think you will find it was me who first said that 554 had already gone to Tiger. This was only ever intended to update the Tiger end of the move. I now think this will be very last post on here, thanks for the memory, time to move on

What depot are Yorkshire Tiger Running the Bradford Uni 99 from? The direction I saw it coming into Bradford from this morning suggests not Elland.

The 99 is being run out of idle even though decker don't fit inside the depot building Deckers, or at least 894 & 895 (not sure of the height difference between these and W404VGJ) do fit inside the Idle depot, though I believe it's a tight fit.

They have loaned some deckers from Arriva and there is no space inside the depot so they are parked outside
