Appears to be 4 Solos not any of the new SR ones, a MAN Evolution which is likely to be 654 and 2 deckers no details as to which ones or even livery from the picture I saw

Sorry Kendal17 but I believe that Yorkshire Tiger is owned by DB(German State Railways) which is a very large business

Hopefully a couple of the more knackered Solo's have been written off, mind you Arriva will probably supply Tiger with North East's knackered buses. Damage to the building looks like it can be repaired and I'm sure in the meantime buses still can be stored in the yard, if not Waterloo isn't too far away with Leeds also being an option and these 2 can be used for maintainance/repairs as well.

Elland generally had the newest solos in the fleet, none of which were that old. Any replacements in the short to medium term are likely to be older. Surplus ones from the tender losses in Huddersfield being some that could be available.

Which depot does 360 belong to? I was sure it was Elland but if it's Waterloo god help Halifax passengers if this replaces the fire damaged buses! This can't climb a hill even if it was attached to a rocket!

Whenever I have had a look in when passing the vehicles haven't been lined up like that. They are usually all parked straight as per the left hand vehicles in the photo.

That was a Elland bus but along with 338 was the oldest. The others were 09 reg or newer.

There are a number of Solos still in K-Line livery whether this is down to them not required since the service losses in Huddersfield or a lack of budget to get them repainted who knows so may be some there. Downside is that 2 of the losses 382/3 were the narrower versions not sure if any of those surplus at Honley fall into that category. Could be some spare deckers at Leeds in the short-term until the Uni services are back in full swing, provided none suffered from the depot floods. Maybe a couple more Presidents could be fished out from Belle Isle, finally there are 653 and 662 still running around on borrowed time at Dewsbury and Heckmondwike

Was the Tiger depot at Leeds flooded? I assume there must have been some flooding as it's near the river and just off Kirkstall Road. Not a good Christmas for Tiger.

Could always use some bigger buses on some of the routes. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Are those 561 pics evening part runs, I wouldn't have thought you'd be able to take a single deck via Mill Bank. The 574 used to be full sized double deck in the days when First ran it.
I don't think the slimline bus thing is an issue anymore. Currently you could see any type of solo on consecutive trips on the same service. You only see the single and double decks on certain runs though.

Yes First used to take striders up Mill Bank and before that Leopards used to go up.
The fire was caused my an electrical fault on one of the Arriva liveried presidents, something must have gone pop then escalated from there. It happened at 1130 while there was 4 buses outside waiting to come in to be fuelled etc, it's lucky they were outside because it could have been much bigger.
