Good job it's a Saturday service this week, so lots of spare buses available.
No 262 shorts, no 241, no 3rd bus on 435/436, lower freq on 319, no schools, reduced uni services.

Arriva Heckmondwike should also have surplus given the Saturday service 15min rather than 10 min frequency on 268/268A, no peak hour extras on 209/219/229 and 225/254/255. Interesting that nothing appears to have been sent from Arriva Wakefield, unless they are preparing some more Presidents....................

Wouldn't have thought presidents would be much use, assuming none have been destroyed.

Tiger President 880 (AY675), 881 (AY679) and 885 (AY686) were all in service yesterday although Leeds based Trident 895 (V317 GLB) which had been at Elland could also in the mix

Been a bit out of it, the past few days, hence these forum reports are the first ive heard of this fire. I would hope there was no casualty's or injuries, was there?.

The fact they've had 3 full sized buses drafted in suggests 3 full sized buses have been destroyed. Also complicating matters is that some of the K-Line solos particularly those in K-Line livery may have been there already.

Are those 561 pics evening part runs, I wouldn't have thought you'd be able to take a single deck via Mill Bank. The 574 used to be full sized double deck in the days when First ran it. I don't think the slimline bus thing is an issue anymore. Currently you could see any type of solo on consecutive trips on the same service. You only see the single and double decks on certain runs though. I don't know if it still runs but there used to be a double decker school route through Mill Bank. I saw two Tiger Blue-liveried services going through Ripponden yesterday during a brief visit.

Yes 2 deckers and Evolution 654 were lost K-Line solos already there, probably a couple 234 and 355 neither of which had been painted into Tiger Blue livery

Bad news YT drivers based at Elland, Arriva North East are sending some older buses down, a 53 reg (1753) and an 04 reg (1799) Transbus Darts are being sent down on loan. Now apparently 1799 is supposed to be a good dart but we'll see if it copes with hills.

They have probably had the fuel pumps screwed down way beyond what they should have been, so could have a few problems. Penfold

I understand that the losses at Elland are: Solos 313, 382, 383, 384 SR Solo 403 (not thought to be an error) although what a Tiger Blue/K-Line Metro Connect one was doing at Elland, one wonders Evlution 654 Presidents Tiger 883 (still in Arriva Livery AY683) and Orange 884 (AY684)

Hopefully a couple of the more knackered Solo's have been written off, mind you Arriva will probably supply Tiger with North East's knackered buses. Damage to the building looks like it can be repaired and I'm sure in the meantime buses still can be stored in the yard, if not Waterloo isn't too far away with Leeds also being an option and these 2 can be used for maintainance/repairs as well. And it looks like I was right as a Cadet has been photographed in service at Halifax on the Cadets from the North East thread, think the rest will come this way with recent loaned buses returning to their depots/K Line.
