So, with First West Yorkshire StreetDecks already coming, followed by Transdev Keighley Solo SRs and Versas by the end of June, this could be a shot in the arm in favour of coming to Bradford & Keighley on the August Bank Holiday.
Now that route 72 is regaining double-deck operation in place of bendis, it may as well return to Leeds City Bus Station in due course.

Would gain more customers there and give a choice of this and the x6 Sent from my D6603 using proboards

I had that exact same thought aswell, would make sense as this transition with terminating points frustrated many, would seem silly to keep things as they are if the StreetCars would be taken off. The Wright Gemini body history/timeline, can indeed be confusing. A good source of reference is the official WrightBus website, as it shows the difference's in the Streetdeck and Gemini 3 bodies/chassis combo's etc. You are basically right with your assumption that B7's were the original Gemini's, B9's were Gemini 2's, but the 12 plate B9's you refer to are actually Gemini 2's (facelifted version). AFAIK no B9's have been built with the Gemini 3 body, the only option from Wright was the B5 or B5 Hybrid engine with this body. To muddy the waters further, there are actually two versions of the Gemini 3 body, rather than try and explain, my tip would be to visit Stuart Montgomery's Flickr Lothian Buses site where you can see the difference's yourself, as Lothian are one of the few operators that have both types of Gemini 3 in use. Two other operators with both types of Gemini 3 are Metroline and Tower Transit in London. Mind you, Lothian Buses is more effective as the London routes only intersect at Ladbroke Grove for Metroline and nowhere for Tower Transit. The Tower Transit ones have come close though! Some of the first batch have operated the 25, and the second batch have been on the N97.

I've looked at some pix on Flickr, and it seems that StreetDecks for routes 72 & X6 will have identical interiors. It would have been nice for those on route X6 to have coach-seating.

They would get trashed and there would be less seats, I boarded the X6 the other and I couldn't believe the amount of rubbish that was on the floor and seats. I would like to see USB ports on the X6 service.

Indeed it would, and other enhancements such as usb sockets, wifi etc I doubt they would get trashed anymore than any other areas this sort of thing is introduced. Look at Transdev's Witch Way, Burnley isn't exactly known for being a upmarket area and they do alright.

Probably, only a matter of time before all the major operators on all routes equip their buses with this technology, as time goes on bus passengers will expect this as standard. probably, in a few years operators that don't have free wi-fi and usb ports will be considered draconian. I guess that's what we call progress.
