Arriva Belle Isle Spectra 703 on 110 this morning. 110 branded Gemini 1515 (I think) on 126/7 and 126/7 branded Gemini 1526 on Knottingley 148/9 Only 'unusual' working for a Sunday is the Spectra on the 110's (unless of course it due to a breakdown). Gemini's of any branding are usually out in force unless certain a certain duty manager allocates anything they want! Penfold I agree I only included the Geminis since those were the only other Belle Isle buses I saw today ironic really

Arriva had 714 on the 110 today, whilst 1807 made an appearance on the 205 this evening. Also, 1411 spent the day on the 111.

Regards Gary Heckmondwike Hub (to give it, it's official name), will be either opening March or April, we've been told. Not ALL services will be using it. We already know that the 209/19 Leeds, 254 Leeds, 268/A Bradford WON'T be using it, they will stay using the existing stands at the far end of the Green and in front of William Hill's (268/A's). The rest including 229 Huddersfield are to use the four shelters.

I'm surprised the 254 Leeds won't be using it as the stops for that are miles away, at least the 268 Bradford stops in the layby, although as that is the flagship route I'm also surprised it isn't using it.

I wonder if the Heckmondwike Hub is the start of some new mini bus stations, although I have seen more bus stops in some School Bus laybys.
I wonder if the council will doing anything to the lights at the junction of Heckmondwike Green

Like I said, that's what we've been told at the moment, and as you know, sometimes, plans change , until I get my copy of finalised allocations of shelters, that's all I can say.

I wonder if the council will doing anything to the lights at the junction of Heckmondwike Green The Council are meant to be adding an extra set of lights at the exit with crossing facilities to give buses and delivery vehicles a chance to get out into traffic.

I wonder if the Heckmondwike Hub is the start of some new mini bus stations, although I have seen more bus stops in some School Bus laybys. I wonder if the council will doing anything to the lights at the junction of Heckmondwike Green Well the only reason they aren't calling it a bus station is because Heckmondwike feel badly done to compared to Cleckheaton and Batley. A collection of bus stops on a bus only road has been defined as a bus station though in the past and probably will be once it opens. Heckmondwike was practically the only place that didn't have a bus station, everywhere else pretty much has one. There's only the likes of maybe Morley that doesn't. Of course Wetherby Bus Station only has 1 stop actually within it.

Of course Wetherby Bus Station only has 1 stop actually within it. A good few years ago, around the time Cleck & Batley Bus Stations were being built, Metro were going to build a proper bus station in Heckmondwike. The site was going to be opposite Morrisons, but instead the Health Centre was agreed upon in place of a bus station.
