UID B10BLE on the 508
Also I ended up on AY 1610 from Leeds and heard this awful noise like a mix of air escaping from a balloon making a loud whistling noise and loud hissing from the front but much louder whenever it stops as I've never heard anything like it before as I've tried to look it up on YouTube but again nothing came close to what I heard and also the bus kept jerking I think. The driver kept revving the bus also probably to clear the problem. Any idea what that could be? Air/gearbox problem?
(sorry the description is a bit long)

The route network and some of the fleet of Bakerbus were taken over by D & G during January but the B5LH Hybrids weren't included in the deal due to D & G not wanting to take the lease on. It'll be interesting to know who's operating these in our area.

I've also seen one a few weeks ago on Manchester Road in Bradford.
Doesn't narrow down who's operating it.

They are running on former Eddie Brown duties. Assume from somewhere in the area, as didn't Thorp Arch get vacated when everything happened in December, and not heard of any reports of them in Barnsley at Tates, where most of the coaches are now running from.

(sorry the description is a bit long) Michael Windle If an air drier is blocked, stopping the air pressure been governed properly, it will release from a pressure relief valve. It is designed to make a racket like you describe to ensure it is picked up as soon as possible by driver/fitters. Although it would not cause jerking (unless an air leak and brakes are sticking), that would be a seperate problem.

When pulling away from bus stops it did seem as though brakes were sticking as it was revved about once each time. But thank you for telling me that Wibble! Michael Windle

I saw 2 Globe Coaches operating the GSAL5 & 6 today with "On hire to Eddie Brown" in the window.

Yeah did note the B5LHs back in the middle of Jan. They've had a variety of things on the GSAL routes like new King Longs.
With Eddie Brown becoming Eddie Brown Tours, it was easier to transfer the contract unlike when Arrive in Style had it and went kaput completely.
