Yes that one has arrived at Redcar depot. Meanwhile 223 entered service at Stockton yesterday, with 220/1 entering service at Durham on Monday. Attachment Deleted

whats the dart parked down the side of the river at wakefield looks like scrap to me. ta I know its nearly a year late but I can shed light on this, bus was used by arriva/fire brigade in december as a 'bus crash' exercise, people were 'trapped' on board etc and emergency services 'rescued' them.

Did these start life at Dewsbury? Didn't Selby originally get these for the Tadcaster service? I believe so yes, they had route branding for 492-493 at one point.

Did these start life at Dewsbury? Didn't Selby originally get these for the Tadcaster service? They started out when new (April 2000) at Dewsbury. Moved in April 2001 to Pontefract depot where they gained branding for the Tadcaster routes. They then moved on to Castleford (August 2002) and Selby (April 2003) when the depot who ran the 491/2/3 kept changing. They stayed at Selby until moved back to Castleford around 2011/12. HTH

Been told by a reliable source at Heckmondwike Depot that Volvo B7TL ALX400 656(W656 CWX) caught fire this morning and is withdrawn and probably written off.

Seen a pic on my Facebook homepage tonight (posted on the 'Yorkshire Bus Spotters' page) of MPD's 202 and 219 in the depot without their 'cherished' reg plates. Wonder which buses (if any) will be recieving these plates shortly? Also the TWY 7 Plates from ALX200 167. Surely those plates would sit right on Castlefords Mini Dart E200 '1007'.

Whilst the picture may be recent, the plates were taken off the vehicles, and re-registered back to the V...PCX plates (at least as far as DVLA are concerned) when they were removed from service, so I wonder if the actual plates have now been removed to ensure that they do not appear on the road with incorrect plates on

I wonder if Arriva will actually keep these cherished reg's and put them on some of the E200's? Or if they will just be sold on.
I'm also pretty certain i saw Volvo B7 ALX400 651(W651 CWX) on the 189 this evening, which would mean it is back at castleford, but can't say for definite.

Looked like it had been given a lick of paint. Looks like it could be reappearing somewhere Also 1705 now has 'free wifi' stickers on destination board and on side windows

Two MPD darts have arrived at Selby, I didn't see the numbers sorry. I only assume these have arrived to cover the short fall when the Gemini's start to go for refurbishment.
