It's funny how certain buses leave WY fleets when not very old then return some years later when they are getting on a bit and nobody wants them anymore! 5078/79/176/178 seem to spring to mind! Halifax always seem to be always willing to take them on too!

In fact when I was there 1979 to 1992, it used to be said that the reason they got sent to Halifax, was because they were the only mechanics who could keep the bangers going. Don't know if that has changed in recent times, not living in the area any more.

It's not as though it is nearer to Barnsley than anywhere else in West Yorkshire, it might just be where First keep their old redundant spares!

Have I missed something? When did 37130 come back to Hunslet? It was seen last night waiting with an engineer at Corn Exchange 12/13/A stop so assuming it was relieving a bus on those routes.

I'm sure 37130 did move to Sheffield at some point in the past year as it was commented on the South Yorkshire forum some time in June as being a recent transfer from Leeds.

Whilst on the subject of last Septembers transfers 37021-37035 have turned out to be very reliable and popular vehicles.

Hang on, I've read it wrong, it was 37103 that was commented on, think 37130 has been elsewhere for a while though as haven't seen it for a while, it was loaned to Halifax according to Flickr comments 5 months ago, has it been there until now?

I've checked on this and yes, in response to a shortage at Halifax in March 37130 did go on loan along with one or two 3769x but were only there a few days. Seem to remember odd bits from Manchester & Bradford helping out too and if i'm not mistaken at least one B10BLE that had been in store at Cherry. I also remember 30239 going on loan for a very short period earlier this year due to some of their buses being affected by the snow!

If they are going on the 301/302 Golcar circulars, they should have ordered the Max version instead.

Has anyone got an up to date allocation for "My Bus" fleet.
Just seen 68625 ( Huddersfield), 68654/6/7 ( Bradford), all working in Halifax this afternoon.
Regards
Gary

All those vehicles have been allocated to Halifax since this time last year along with 68655/9/60
Changes this year are usually based on personal sightings as they've only been back on the road a few days.

I was using the Sheffield Omnibus Enthusiasts Society fleetlist dated 11th August 2013, so I assumed it would be reasonably up to date.
Has anyone got a better source of up to date allocations please?

I could tell you what the allocations were last term, based on my own sightings, but they may not be the same now.
There tends to be very little interest in the BMCs so stuff rarely gets reported, plus the buses are only seen on working days for a few hours and rarely in the town centre, so they are hard to spot as well. it took about 6 months for the identity of the BMCs that had moved to Tetleys to be confirmed in the PSV Circle. The allocations at CT Plus between Leeds and Wakefield is never reported.
