I was wondering if any one can help me as I was in Leeds today for the first time in a while and found Cherry Row depot, last time i came across this depot it was been used for keeping school buses in there, today it looked like its been used for storing withdrawn buses and am asking if anyone on here has a full list of the buses stored inside the depot I got most of the ones round the fence sides but as it was dark I couldn't get the ones parked in the middle of the depot.
Many thanks Craig

Not to forget 10011,10014,10015,10018 & 10032. and 10004 i guess Although most if not all of the above were at Cherry Row around Spring/Early Summer 2012, none of these are there now. They left sometime after Summer 2012, not sure where they went and the only ones at Cherry Row on January 10th this year were: 10000/1/2/3/5/6/7/8/9/10/12/13/19/20/21/23/24/26/27/28/30/31. Within the actual yard 10000/1/2/6/7/13/19/21/24/26/28/30 are parked adj to the hedge which borders Mushroom Street and 10003/5/8/9/10/12/20/23/27/31 are in a group near the bottom gate on Ruby Street.

Oh right!!! Didnt even know these bendys had been taken out of Cherry Row. Seem to be re-locating them all over the place ever since they been withdrawn!

Which is 10000-15 & 10018-32.

The group of 9 in the top centre of the picture just to the right of the gate are 10003/5/8/10/12/20/23/27/31 and the single deck in the top far right parked parallel to the white building is 61063 and yet the small group of B10LA's & FTRs parked to the left of it just aren't shown which is really bizarre! Oh well, you've earned my Sherlock Holmes award for investigative action!

Oh well, you've earned my Sherlock Holmes award for investigative action! Haha i make it my mission to know about the B10LAs as most people on here know these were/still are my favourite types of buses! Find it strange though how all Glasgow's B7LAs are withdrawn & cannibalised since most of them have caught fire & they keep the B10LAs plodding on! So if they kept their B10LAs going for another 3 years AFTER Ours & Manchesters were withdrawn & gave them a refurbishment. Why didnt ours stay around & withdraw the B7LAs instead? Also does anybody know future plans for the B10LAs as an email i got from First Hunslet said that they are still on "Active Service" & could return at anytime. Whether that happens or not after them been parked up for 3 years is anybodys guess! But then a lot of buses have gone into Cherry Row & made a comeback at other places....

Yes but to have them taxed etc. for seldom use doesn't make economic sense. Plus it would take the flexibility out of what drivers could do those duties.

Changing topic ever so slightly, the Cummins Solo's.
Are they owned by Metro? If so, why have they languished at Cherry Row for so long? Given part of everyone's council tax goes to Metro, shouldn't they be utilising their assets better than this?

Does nobody at First HQ have anything to say about this depot which has become a dumping ground for a very expensive large articulated fleet. Surely it can't be going unnoticed but why on earth would First not be looking at using these vehicles somewhere in the country?! It's a very strange situation.

Surely most but not all drivers would be trained for Bendies, Not forgetting that Hunslet also has a fleet of B7LA Fusions & Bramley with its Streetcars....?

Too expensive to run in everyday service & costing nothing whilst parked at CRG. May as well be scrapped but First may hold out other hopes for them (export etc).

Plus if Renowns ever need parts for repairs,it will probably save Firstbus money using Parts from bendys than buying new parts
