I came to Leeds, Wakefield and Dewsbury today. I changed from a 110 to a 127 at Wakefield so that I could compare the leather and ordinary seating. Both were remarkably comfortable. I let a 126 go by, as I had been on this route on Spring Bank Holiday 2009.

Does anyone have details yet of the new single deckers supposedly due in August and when the new "Green Fund" buses will arrive?

I've heard a trail run hybrid (in silver) arrived at Cas weeks ago but was sent back as it was too high for them so producing a low height version.

Although I am probably coming to the Leeds area on the August Bank Holiday, I doubt I shall ride any Arriva buses unless they run on any routes in place of First, Transdev or CentreBus on Sundays/ Bank Holidays. I never anticipated the Pulsar 2s coming before September, which in itself now seems unlikely. I rode just Arriva buses on my previous visit in March.
Following my hint of riding a Gemini integral in Newcastle, I did on July 26th, in addition to Yorkshire routes 110 and 127 in March.

Slight chance Dewsbury could get the Tempos from Castleford because when the new Hybrid Geminis come they might move

I heard the rumour about the Tempos going to Dewsbury because they can handle Dewsbury's hilly routes better.

Wouldn't like to see the Tempo's to leave Cas personally. Lovely bus. Give Dewsbury some o them horrible ALX400 deckers instead.

Especially on the 278 route with the hill in elland, most buses struggle up there Happened to me up Dewsbury Road other week, not far away from the one the 278 goes up, got half way up & the bus lost power completely. Had to turn around & find alternative route.
