They dont have guides, it is all on a CD and from what I saw in York there was only 1 person stood at the Station.

One of the B7RLE's has now arrived in York and there is also 2 NC Leyland Olympian's in from K&D which i assume is for the races next week. Also noticed on flickr they are using F349WSC on open tops, surely if i was a tourist i would rather be on an open topper. The tourist can wait 12 mins for the next one then. As F349WSC is a spare bus for City Sightseeing then it's obvious it will appear at the height of summer. No different from what the closed top Metrobus used to do. Yes but at least the metrobus was in a decent livery. This Olympian just has stickers on the side. As for a cd, that is a massive shame. It is much nicer to have guides on the bus rather than a cd. They may say it costs money, but i doubt volunteers would.

Who is gonna volunteer in this day in age?
Every charity shop is screaming out for volunteers. I'd expect any possible volunteers would rather go there and do something useful to society than at Transdev with a microphone giving guides.

The experimental Spot On livery looks a million times better than the current one!

From what I hear they are meant to be going into 36 livery & refurbishment.

Seems pointless updating the front and rears of these Gemini's, when they are perfectly fine.

So will all 04 plate geminis be in 36 livery ? They should make coastliner buses like the ones on the 36.

Well the interior refurb is good and needed, however the front and rear updates are pointless but that is my opinion.

Doubt you may of seen this yourself its quite well tucked away, also if you had seen you may also know its 305 that has transferred across, a Volvo B10M Plaxton Paragon replacing B10BLE 201 which has gone to York. Also B92SWX has come across to Harrogate. Thanks Gary- Photos Here -

Why are they branding a B7 in Transdev York livery? I thought all the B7s were going to be in Coastliner livery and used on the 844, with the Versas covering all the local services (presumably being updated to Transdev York livery over time). I can't see the 19, 20, 24 or 26 wanting a B7, and surely they've got enough to cover those routes with the Versas and B10s?

No, 1817/33-5 are going onto local work alongside the Versas while 1836-9 are replacing the Versas on the 844.

Another Olympian should be at York now, it passed me this morning on the A59 - think it was 983 (had T B&P logos)

Any ideas on reg ? Correction earlier the Olympian i saw was S64WNM, still with K&D names. It will be kept in yellow won't it, unless it gains urban cool livery or Transdev York blue. Plus one B7RLE now in coastliner service. And another in York livery. www.flickr.com/photos/6228_leeds/6053413384/

Not sure I'd want to be on an L-reg Olympian all the way from Acomb to Flamingo Land ... it might make the rides seem pretty tame by the time you've got there!
