Why would they need to hang on to any bus. Apart from the vehicles "on hire" to Stanley Gath the owners have no need for them because they do not a an operator licence therefore sell them before the resale value drops even further and put the money in the bank.

Seen as it's erm the same company albeit name and director change I'd wud hav Fort that they wud hav just repainted the on hire to Stanley gath buses into what ever livery they r guna use

It is not the same company. MTravel licence was revoked by the TC and the two directors lost their repute. It is, what ever you want to believe, another company with a new director/directors albeit they may be related. Do you seriously think they would get away with it as far as the TC is concerned.

Maybe the Wright Cadets/Commanders could go to Tiger, perhaps to replace the fire-damaged buses?

And no doubt they will not be the last but in the end someone from the TC's office will get you eventually.

The owners of M Travel are perfectly within their rights to hire the vehicles they used when they were operating services to whom they like, in this case Stanley Gath. If the vehicles are left sitting in a yard somewhere the owners will not get a return on the vehicles they purchased and the value of said vehicles will depreciate day by day. All they are doing is getting money for hiring out vehicles they no longer have a need for. Same goes for any business.

Why are they going to need to replacement. The new owners may have spent money on the ex M Travel vehicles to bring them upto a decent state of repair.

To be honest if the firms are not connected, would you as the new operator lease vehicles from a company which has been put out of business due to poor maintenance or would you lease from any number of other more reputable sources whose core business is to lease good quality vehicles.
We all know what's really going on here because it's happened many many times before in all types of business.

The question posed by "Dimmock87" was "when r we guna see Stanley Gath buses in service" which is a question that nobody on this forum could answer unless someone from Stanley Gath replies. My point was that anyone can hire a vehicle to anyone irrespective of condition, connection, relationship or anything else.

The 'on hire' buses now have Stanley Gath legal lettering, so they are now Stanley Gath buses anyway.

M travel must hav got a good price "selling" those top quality vehicles to stanley gath I think this point has been done to death now. Anyway I'm locking this thread as we are all well aware that M Travel is no longer operating. Feel free to discuss things over on the Stanley Gath thread which you have already kindly created
