There have been some diversions on the 1 route due to Remembrance Day parades which could perhaps explain the shorter buses being used. According to Metro the diversions were as follows: Service 1. Towards Holt Park. Infirmary St (R) Park Row (L) Boar Ln, Duncan St (L) New Market St, Vicar Ln (L) The Headrow (R) Albion St then as Route Guide. Service 1. Towards Beeston. Albion St (L) The Headrow (R) Vicar Ln, New Market St, Call Ln, City Loop (L) Bishopgate St (L) Neville St (observe Stop Z2) then as Route Guide.
If the allocation of Geminis occurs tomorrow however, Kirkstall's routes could be rather interesting to watch...

Probably won't. Don't think the Artics would end up on the 42.

Going back a while now, but I did once see an artic on the 42 bound for Old Farnley. Can't be the easiest of buses to drive on a route mostly made up of narrow estate roads!
In response to "the X84 which is frequently it is almost always a Scania single decker" I still see this service using double deckers just as much as single deck buses (Royales, dual door Olympians).

The Scania L113CRLs are not allocated to any particular routes though. So they are split between the 46, 74/74A and X84.

I have seen 61134 on the 56 before, but it isn't common. When the 64 and 98/99 interworked I occasionally went to Wetherby on it. The Dart on the 28 is unusual, I don't recall that happening much. I do remember one appearing on the 95 - thankfully an early evening journey into the city, so wasn't doing much business. Can't have been much fun outbound and crush loaded though. 64808 would have made sense on the 731, and 31761 on the 92 (not the other way around!) On Kirkstall's routes, the Scania L113s and N113s are effectively spares - they can turn up in the place of anything on any route.

The 64 interworks with the 68/68A on Monday to Saturday daytimes. On evenings and Sundays it interworks with 18A between Leeds and Ireland Wood.

Both 17 and 18 are now at Heckmondwike so will end up on any of their routes.
Some misallocations I have noticed today, all First West Yorkshire: 61071 and 30952 on the 56. (Cherry Row must have a shortage) 66711 and 32468 on the 51/51A.

(Cherry Row must have a shortage) . probably because there is a couple of scanias on the 37, which i think have come off 18 and 64/68... therefore leaving them short. there were alx400s today on the 64 and 1 on the 18 which were usally on the 56, which could explain loaning 1 from bramley but cant see why 61071 was on the the 56 instead of either of the previosly mentioned routes

Hi
Don’t know if it’s normally seen round here but I noticed First Bradford’s 30636 Leyland Olympian Roe B130RWY on a school/private run this afternoon around 14:30.
It was on Keighley Road near Illingworth heading down the hill towards Halifax as i was heading the over way.

To add to yesterday's fun and games (I also saw most of the previously listed misallocations and wondered what on earth was going on!) there was also J142YRM (30710) out on the 51, making rather a lot of noise nuisance especially when braking! Also ex-BP 422 (now 36922) was on 16 yesterday.
Today saw Dart Dash 3257 (40626) covering a 51 duty in the evening.
Further to markr's comments the 95 seems to see a fair bit of Dart running, quite often its usual to see at least one on there.

One misallocation from today.
K-Line Solo 23 (MX04VMG) working the Free Town Bus in Huddersfield. This was in place of normal FTB Solo YJ56WFK. When fotopic allows me I will get the picture I took of it on my site and post the link.
