Geldards needs to try route branding now for the 28B to show commitment to the service would get more passengers if so and come the start of next Uni term, students might be tempted to buy Metro tickets instead of First's season tickets!

I doubt they'd want a fully branded bus breaking off and doing school runs etc.

I am thinking they will buy some new buses like they did when they got the 28B, maybe some Dennis trident's or B7TL Lowlanders because that what Ensign have up for sale at the moment (Geldards bought their Spectra's from there). ensignbus.com/

I don't think the Spectras were purchased specifically for the service, just general fleet replacement.

I saw an ex-London Dennis Trident today on 28B, the same one that is on the Ensign website so this is probably what they'll use for the 711.

Yeah i should've read the other thread aswell, Looks wierd when you look at the staircase positioning. Suppose it will do a job for Geldards though.

Ensign will be selling more than one of each type, the photos on their website are only indicative
It's quite interesting looking at the photos on Ensign's website, they've got some decent vehicles for sale, but at the same time they've got some that look like complete sheds. I can't see them shifting those ex-Arriva Volvo D10Ms

Had a ride on it today ex Blue Triangle TL903 V903FEC dual doors were in use albeit at only one stop!!! Had a printed paper blind for the 28B. Certainly stands out, especially with the advert for The Sun Pub in Romford, London on the rear! Sullivan Buses are now running a couple of these on my local bus route in Hertfordshire.

P478MBY (or could have been 476?) is now in an all-over light blue livery, like J811/7HMC, with no Geldards fleetnames, which is surely a step back since P478MBY was dark blue with fleetnames.
