Both P867PWW and R178GNW were in use on the rail replacement and at least P867 is in use by Diamond Travel(Sheffield?). I thought R178 also had Diamond Travel legals but now I'm not 100% sure! Cheers for that, knew I'd seen something ex Geldards and was sure it was P867, but all these reg numbers getting thrown around I started to doubt myself! It is likely both are with the same company, I do not know for sure, but could they have been leased out from Diamond Travel to Geldards?

Does anyone have any more information on where some of the Gelgards buses went, would love to track down YFB 973V but my instinct is that it will be at a scrapyard? YJ04 BKK was another favourite

YJ04 BKK was another favourite Believe that although the National went to a scrapyard, it was for the sole purpose of resale, and I understand it's returned back to the South West, for restoration as the sole surviving example of the Cheltenham & Gloucester 'National 3' upgrades.

It was a good bus win very few Leyland Nationals still being around and on the roads. Sadly, I feel that YFB 973V will be in a very poor state, Geldards seemed to very rarely use it and looks like a bus just full of junk. Another problem with these buses is the engines, if they break you need to replace the whole thing. Do you know who owns it? Also, do you have any idea where YJ04 BKK and YJ04 BKG went, they were probably their 2 best vehicles which they owned?

They will be sold on, nothing is scrapped unless of a good reason. Check eBay at some point and they'll surface eventually.

YJ04 BKK was on rail replacements last Sunday, I think it was either working for Atlantic Travel or one of the other Burnley or Manchester based coach companies that are regulars on Rail Replacements.

Seems end of P476 MBY's days in service. It is currently being converted into a motorhome after Stagecarriage quickly sold it after buying due to some issues. It is unclear where P478 MBY has gone thouveith it's fuel pump issue.
