Halifax Joint Committee have got in fleet livery Northern Counties/Leyland Olympian G547VBB. This was initially new to Kentish Bus and has been used as a driver trainer at Arriva London.
The bus is in HJC colours as well.

They are not allowed, it is their policy not to sell to other company's, just allowed for preservation.

They would make some money if they sell buses on! Shame they go straight for scrap!

The policy is pathetic, so many buses which are scrapped are still road worthy like some of Leeds Scania's and dare i say it Dart's and Olympians.

The reasoning behind the policy is that First feels as they withdraw a fair number of buses per annum and more than the other PLCs that operators could snap them up and use them on services competing against First's.
