Unidentified First Leeds City Volvo B7RLE (or at least what's left of it) heading through Newmillerdam behind PVS wrecker. Only part of fleetnumber decipherable on enlarged photo is the first 6 (not much help!) the last number looks like it could be a 4

AY 1420 broke down at White Rose UID NE E200 on 163
Whilst TDV 2428 is on the X98, another grey one is on 60 and 2019 on 843, whilst a red Gemini 2 on the 36 was displaying 1A when i was approaching leeds bus station

Not been a good day for the Halifax to Ripponden Corridor of bus services:
M62 diverted Traffic causing major delays for all bus services in Ripponden in the morning, 1716 - DX12 OWC breaking down at Ripponden, with passengers being refused to be let on for free by the 586 driver of 69362 - YJ08 ZGP on the 1557 return from Commons. And finally a fight taking place on the 69373 - YJ08 XYN with the bus pulling over for 20 minutes and a police questioning taking place.

I guess it's driver discretion with the broken vehicle being from Transdev, and the 586 vehicle being from First.

It's Pretty silly though, I know most drivers would let them on and Transdev would do it for them if First bus broke down as I've seen it happen before. A couple years ago also a Dennis Dart broke down on the 560 just for a K-Line liveried Solo on X58 to pick up all passengers for free.

Would be interested in seeing how well it coped on the route Electrics tend to have boat loads of torque. Heard they are quite great at climbing hills. The issue is charge! Looking at the tracking it climbed the hilly parts on time or ahead of schedule, good sign!

No service to Mount Road at all.

I thought as much I wasn't seeing things this morning, went into the old Co Op on Town Street Beeston and on the way saw a service 1 at 06.55 with passengers on head towards Wesley Street from Town Street, thought it a bit odd but thought there was some road closure or the bus was running really late. On the way back home, saw a bus coming up Wesley Street which I thought was odd as another service 1 wasn't due til half 7, so I had a look whilst it passed and it was a service 1 with passengers on! God knows what was going on but the tracking confirms what I was seeing. bustimes.org/vehicles/flds-35522?date=2024-03-25#journeys/557539287

Unfortunately, the public reaction to this incident, was totally disgusting. My thoughts are with the poor driver, I know exactly what happened and was not his fault. The way the public have insulted the bus driver and his family is absolutely disgusting. I'm angry inside, not just the public, but some enthusiasts have called driver names and insulted him. It's an absolute travesty the way some members of the public abuse and insult the drivers like this is absolutely disgraceful. Even with the drivers family members and other drivers commenting about what happened, people still insulting the driver and not bothered about him at all. Posted on Arriva's FB page today hoping Arriva looks after this driver.

The drivers family don't find it very funny. It just shows how bad the public treat the drivers, who work extremely hard. and for people to accuse the driver of fiddling on their phone or poor driving even with the full details revealed, is an absolute disgrace. These people should be ashamed themselves, if the passengers had a heart attack on the bus or collapsed or something or passed out, thed expect the driver to stop and ring the emergency services and rightly so, but if a bus driver has one, then the public go hes just lazy and bad driving or he's been on his phone. The jokes are totally inappropriate
