So does this mean the long running Harrogate to Knaresborough bus war is now over? Well the 7/X70 is still an issue. It is, but doesn't share much of the route with the 1s and X1s.

So Transdev are altering the X98/99 timetable, yet again for "punctuality and reliability". Maybe if they actually ran services, that would improve reliability! How much slower are they going to make it this time? That's why there is no growth from Wetherby, Linton, Collingham or East Keswick. It is too slow and too unreliable.
From Oakwood Clock into Leeds, people just get the first bus that arrives at the stop. Speed and reliability don't matter. They is always another bus, and they all take a similar amount of time.
I used the 21:03 X99 from Leeds last night. It left late, the driver drove like a snail, but still arrived at Tesco, Roundhay Road early, because the timings are the same whether peak or off-peak. It was the same story at the other timing points. It wasn't busy at any point of the journey, and there was hardly any one on board after the ring road. One person got off in East Keswick. One in Collingham, and after Collingham, there were 2 people left on board.

I think that Lucyp is just reporting it as it is or as she sees it. No need to get all het up about it. And you’ve upset the HTML on this page - that is down to you! She's complaining about the timing on the route and how slow it is just as they've said they're putting a quicker route in - if it doesn't work, that would seem to be a better time to complain about the new routing. She complains about what needs changing on the route and then when they announce changes. And then refuses to engage with anyone responding - it's just boring. Edit: It has led me to find that you can block a member on here from their profile so you don't see their posts - my first in 11 years.

X1 withdrawal. See this as a De-Escalation of the bitter bus war and helping the driver shortage.
7 reduction has helped.
Some more changes to come.

Received 15 Sep 23 Effective 29 Oct 23 Registered Timetable variation
Operating between Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Bradley Boulevard given service number 360 effective from 29 October 2023. To amend Timetable.
Looks like the 360 with Team Pennine will have yet again another change of timetable!

To amend Timetable. Looks like the 360 with Team Pennine will have yet again another change of timetable! It seems to be a growing bus route. It would not shock me to see an extra journey added at some point in the future. As of now it will probably just be a slightly altered timetable.

Expect service 59 Skipton to Harrogate to be running via Ilkley and Otley for a few weeks in October due to the A59 being closed for roadworks, unless they do something really out of the ordinary like run it through Pateley Bridge and Grassington.

Connexions have gained work because of all the Wharefdale and school bus work. The X1 didn't run during school bus times as the drivers and vehicles were used for that work. They have a large amount of school bus work, so they won't be making any redundancies. And who would want to work for Transdev after Connexions. Evening work, night work, Sunday work. None of those are required in Tockwith.

Definately via Ilkley I would expect - via Pateley and Grassington is going to take too long.

Transdev run a staff bus for drivers etc in Harrogate; the evening one around now dropping drivers off back home - its readilly identifiable as it goes the wrong way around the loop of route 3

But those are ad-hoc and probably depend upon volunteer drivers.

They also have a work shuttle contract under the Zeelo banner which sees a vehicle heading out of Harrogate for the wilds of Tockwith aound 8 in the evening which makes for a very rare sight at that time of day.

Unfortunately it only really works if other people don't quote the blocked member all the time but it's a partial solution.

Next date for changes is the 28th, one change has been registered being the 51 'route and timetable change' Keep your eye out as it is likely more changes will be registered leading up to that date. The contract for the 113 ends with Arriva on the 7th October tender has gone out but no alternative supplier found as of yet, Arriva just announced on FB page. Mid Yorkshire have just announced that the 113 will continue from the 8th October. Wonder who has taken it on.

Wonder who has taken it on. looks like it's had a timetable improvement as on weekends the core Patient/visitor section no starts at midday instead of current 1315 running hourly.
