Are there any services you would increase the frequency of? Any routes you think should be brought back? Any new services you think would be good? I'd bring back the 228 route from Cleckheaton to Huddersfield but it would be every 30 minutes instead of every hour like before. I'd increase the 255 frequency to every 30 mins for the full route between Leeds and Halifax I'd bring back the 253 Dewsbury to Bradford as well as the 278 Dewsbury to Halifax. The X32 was always busy from Wakefield to Junction 32 so I think that should also be brought back. I presume it's been withdrawn (I know it was suspended when the pandemic started) I'd reinstate the full 128 route from Dewsbury to Wakefield as well. The X32 was not busy when I was on it and most of the time I was the only passenger but not at college time when it was busy but that is now the WF1. I had no surprise when this was taken off. 128 ran with station coaches after arriva came off it and they have come off it as well now because it just is not used. I have not been on 228 but I think arriva still run this as a 260 but it divert around kirkheaton so not really lost but it is longer journey by about 10 minute. I have not been on 255 either so not have comment on how busy this is but have they not just reduce frequency to Scholes to only every hour? Nobody from Cleckheaton wants to go to Kirkheaton. The 228 was better because it went down Leeds Road which is not only quicker but a lot of people used the service along Leeds Road. I'm surprised to hear people say the 128 wasn't busy because it was when I was on it many times. Maybe not so busy on a Saturday though.

I do not think the motive from arriva was to link cleckheaton and kirkheaton. I think they have save money here because it took 2 bus all day to run 228 but by extend short 261 to cleckheaton it can be done with just 1 extra bus.

Station Coaches are back on 128; it was temporary suspended due to driver shortage which also affected 116 as that temporarily ran Ossett to Leeds for the same period of time. Thank you for correction. I did not know it was back on. I wish the driver shortage would be complete and we had everything more certain.

The thing is as part of a benefit for Leeds Road is that they have a more frequent fast service to Leeds on the 229 so they haven't been left out. Also on the other hand Huddersfield still has a regular link to Cleckheaton so the 228 is not really needed.

Technically, a service that runs one journey once a week is regular, but I appreciate that finding another word to sit between "frequent" and "infrequent" might be a bit tricky.

I'd use "bearable" for at least hourly.

Here's an interesting one.
Why doesn't Arriva terminate the 164s down the Fairburn Drive loop that currently and completely pointlessly trundle to East Garforth.
