I can actually see TLC doing the 30 though. Also they could even run into Leeds as TLC is always rushing for contracts. Doubt it as it's been something like 15 years since they last ran a Leeds tender, and that was only 1 route, their first in fact. If they were that interested in chasing Leeds contracts, you'd have thought by now they'd have one a few more.

Regarding the Huddersfield routes I wonder who will end up with them? Stotts, Team Pennine or TLC?

Knew this would happen They do kind of run some pointless routes, at least in Huddersfield.

I can't see TLC rushing back for the Huddersfield routes, after they handed them back to Metro, (341/342am/354/355/374/375/377/378) with CT Plus taking those routes from May 2020.
As a former employee of both TLC and CT Plus, I know the passengers numbers haven't returned to the level before the pandemic struck.
I wish the staff all the best while things go on in the background outside of their control.

Plus the 900, 901 & 902 are now run from the Bradford depot. Only certain journeys are run by Bradford depot usually the Monday - Friday 900 @ 1710, plus Sunday journeys on 901 are done by either a Bradford or Todmorden driver. The rest of 900/901/902 Monday - Saturday are done by two Huddersfield drivers, with Todmorden drivers also covering for breaks, and have been since May 2020

Comments about a different operator have been deleted. If you have been told something privately and/or you believe it may be a legal situation for somebody, best not to post anything at all, so please don’t repeat those comments.

Thoughts go out to the staff across all depots.
Whilst it may not suit, atleast there's plenty of operators still crying out for drivers.

Please can i ask if its the entire HCT company that`s going to close down or just the Yorkshire and Guernsey?. I know that HCT have operations in Manchester and Bristol and possibly other towns and cities. What i mean is is the whole HCT company going ( London Ash Grove etc ).

Also Manchester operations were ceased around 2020.

Well its a very sad outcome then for CT Plus Yorkshire. I can well remember being set on when the very first depot was set up at Wakefield in 2005 for the MYBUS project ( Metro ). There was Andrew Hammond, Shirley Wilkinson and myself and 3 other drivers and 4 BMC Condors and just 3 school runs. I was spare driver and learned the 3 routes and was basically on standby at the depot in case anything went belly up. While the 3 drivers were out doing their thing i used to wash and valet the spare Condor just in case it was needed and also 4 times a week i took it out for a road test. I have very happy memories of my 4 years there and still have some cups with the MYBUS logo on and some fridge magnets and a small teddy with a MYBUS tee shirt on.
While i`m logged in i want to wish all the drivers, admin staff, management, mechanics and depot operatives all the very best of luck in finding secure future employment.

Covering all the school work will be more of a challenge I actually don't think it will as the school year is finished so the September contracts are open for operators to bid for them.

Are they actually in administration, or just looking to run down the business in Yorkshire. Been able to find nothing that says they are in administration except for the title and first post of this thread.

Unconfirmed at moment, but an Arriva colleague tells me, Arriva Dewsbury taking on 113
If true, I'll grab some overtime on that seeing as I did it when I worked at CT Plus

Doesn't mention administrators have been appointed to run the business, seems HCT are running the business down themselves.

I actually wouldn't be too surprised to see South Pennine taking on some CT Plus work, even in Leeds as they have expanded so far out they may as well try out some Leeds work. They have been working closely with HCT group lately too so you never know.
