Starting out from the area around Royal Mail's Ireland Wood delivery office where is the best shopping centre/retail park located. Google doesn't seem very helpful with some listing sites appearing to default to Leeds City Centre locations despite me entering the postcode. Is there anything in Horsforth aside from the Morrisons? I am a regular visitor to Leeds but my daughter has just moved from Belle Isle Road to within five minutes walk of the Royal Mail facility known as Ireland Wood delivery office. I like to explore large supermarkets and also pop into Iceland. Have found the closest Asda (Asda Adel) to be crap compared to Asda Middleton. Non-driver throwing myself at the mercy of First Leeds.

You're a bit stuck I'm afraid if reliant on public transport, unless you're happy to change buses. If you don't want to mess about then Otley ain't too bad (bus 940 from Asda, or X84 down Lawnswood) for individual shops and it's market, however don't expect an all singing all dancing retail park. Horsforth has a small town centre with the usual affair of charity shops, banks etc.
If you're happy changing buses (note connections may not be good) then you can change on New Road Side, or Horsforth station for buses up to Guiseley where 2 retail parks exist, and can change on the Ring Road for the 9 which runs past Moor Allerton for Sainaburys and the retail park there. The 9 also goes quite close to the Springs (with a bit of a walk from Colton) as well as past the shopping area around Cross Gates. Additionally, you can access Guiseley from Otley on the 34.
Edit - Forgot to add the 6 serves Headingley for some shops there and you can change there for a 91 to Kirkstall for it's retail park.

Another possibility with a change of bus is the 19 to the bottom of Queenswood Drive, and then the 91 down to Kirkstall.

My kinda guy, exploring supermarkets 👊 Adel Asda must be terrible if Miggy is better 😂 19 full length towards The Springs?

Everyone hates the Asda store up by Holt Park but at least the area around it has access to supermarkets/large local stores. Shadwell must be one of the biggest places in Leeds without a supermarket of any kind, large or small, within it's location. The only shop is the Mace store, unless you're prepared to walk to Slaid Hill for the 2 local stores down there. Shadwell is defo one of those places where you really need a car, or be well organised with the shopping lol.

A friend of mine lives in Shadwell and he goes to Seacroft Tesco’s as his nearest superstore on car.
