Here is a list of Leeds tram route numbers from 1951 Leeds timetable. But they arent route numbers as we understand now, but the destination. A tram would leave Lawnswood showing 2. would go into town, then go out to moortown. It would change there to a something and go back to town via Roundhay, aad on to another destination, which would determine the number it showed. In reverse, it would show a 3 to Moortown, then show 1 back to town and back out to Lawnswood. So in Headingley trams going to Lawnswood would show 1, and trams going into town would show 2 Does anyone know of all the pairings because the timetable does not tell me that. Where did the Roundhay trams go after town for instance. And could you book through fares like Lawnswood to Roundhay. BTW, bus numbers were conventional, showing a route, not a destination.

From a few photos I've seen on local community groups; there used to be a tram terminus at Rodley. (Outside the Owl/ Barge I believe).
Does anyone have any more information on this, what year did it close? Where did it go out of Rodley (I would suspect up to Bramley and then maybe on to town)?
