Whilst out walking today, I came across a really old bus stop sign, fully attached to an old style concrete post in excellent condition, outside a school just off Corporation Street in Morley (It's on a road leading to the Wynard estate) and wondered how many of these old stops are still out there throughout West Yorkshire. It's a school services only bus stop which I suspect is from Leeds City Transport going by the typeface.

It is, yes, initially when I first saw the stop, I thought it was something the school had put up lol

Interesting. It looks like the correct typeface, based on similar stop signs I've seen, with the LCT logo blanked out. The concrete post is correct as well. But I thought the plate should be Brunswick Green, not white. My old primary school had a School Services Only stop outside but I think it was not as deep as this one.

Could it we West Riding? They were active in morley. Or maybe the old urban district council. I think LCT would have put their logo on it.

There is a very faded strip at the top of the sign, looks a bit like the old mint green ones with the Metro logo and name on.

There's still a full bus shelter in good condition near Nostell on Swine Lane before you go over the railway. Don't think a bus has been there in decades (bar diversions, which wouldn't use it anyway).
