So if anyone lives in Eastfield and wants to go to Aldi they have to walk to the main road it seems. Better that way round than the other ... at least then when they're laden down with shopping they can get the bus home. Knaresborough to Aldi takes 4 minutes, Aldi to Knaresborough takes 15 minutes. If they ran through Eastfield in both directions then that would add 10 minutes to the round trip and would mean that either all 1A, 1C and 1D services would have to sit and wait for 10 minutes in Knaresborough bus station before setting off back to Harrogate or that there would be a 20-minute gap and then two buses tripping over each other twice every hour.

I have just been looking at Metro’s site and the February timetable changes for some of the Arriva services.
Routes 212, 213, 261 and 271 (at least) must be permanently changed as they are valid until 1st January 3000!
Besides the 228 being withdrawn, routes 205, 281 and 283 are no longer running!
I’m sure it all must be true as the information is on Metro’s site!

Website is wrong as all North Kirklees routes are running except 228 & X25. 128/128A, 205, 213 & 271 are running to the timetables from when lockdown 1 was eased initally and 261 is running new timetable as it now covers the 262 between Mirfield & Huddersfield and Tiger ran 262 in Lockdown 1.

Have you informed Metro, or has your email been blocked?
Clearly another example of the usual workflows not being able to cope with the frequent changes at short notice. I thought people might give companies a bit of slack during a pandemic. Clearly not.

I thought people might give companies a bit of slack during a pandemic. Clearly not. I think people are giving Metro some slack. We understand why timetable displays aren't being updated. We understand delays in answering queries (though not why a simple timetable query can take over a month to answer). However, having a timetable available does seem to be the work you'd expect them to prioritise. Then there's gibberish like this: cf Burnley buses have this - with nothing about first or last buses. Keighley buses don't seem to have noticed it affects a couple of services on the 62. Jacksons have not posted any updates to the 903 since June on their facebook page (the website link on that page details only their funeral services).
