Since lockdown in March, the timetables throughout West Yorkshire have largely been incorrect.
This weekend all my local routes returned to pre-Covid timetables.
Metro has now removed all the roadside timetables and put in instructions on how to find timetables on their website.
Which is a shame, as for 2 of the 4 routes past my house they have incorrect online timetables.
So, unless you know they're on the bus company website (2 different websites) you can't find the times at all.

I think that's a bit harsh by Metro as how will the Elderly will know when their bus arrives, for example if they live in Wakefield, they can't go to the Travel Centre and ask them for a timetable as they are shut and if you live in an Arriva route and if there isnt a roadside timetable, good luck finding their timetable they need on their website especially if it's a service number with a 400! and if you do find the timetable you need it's gonna be difficult to find the right times on some routes! And a lot of people don't think to look on Metro or even know about Metro either.

It's an ideal opportunity to finally force change, Metro do provide a telephone number for those who haven't discovered the internet so all is not lost, and everyone isn't like me who will gladly keep his phone at home whilst enjoying a walk in the wilds of the Pennines. A massive kicking however is Metro should get their act together sharp and get those on line timetables right, it's not rocket science. Mind you, without going off topic, if it puts people off using the bus, I'm all for it as it makes them safer to use.

Where I am most weekday services are normal frequency but at different times, due to no allowance made for increased peak time traffic, and the Saturday service is still lower than it was pre Covid
Therefore it’s perfectly sensible blanking out the old February times with a temporary message, than printing something that could be changed again next week
I’m guessing this will be the case until we go back to timetables needing 56 days notice

Metro have only done this temporarily until everything settles down. They'll have to work back through the audit of timetable changes before the next big change which is the December ones. They did tweet about it. Admittedly articles in the local papers would have helped too.

Where I am it ain't too bad really in fact it's pretty good, back to normal frequency and normal times. The service is 99 percent the same on as a Saturday as it is on Monday to Friday only difference is Saturdays services start a bit later but frequencies are the same and normal time. And Sunday service is the same as it's been for the last few years. I don't think there will be much trouble in my end to say the least. Only difference with the 188 down my way in Covid timetables it was operating Sunday times compared to M-F and Saturday times during the week, but it changes tomorrow.

I noticed in Stanley yesterday that one of the bus stop flags still said Barnsley on it. You haven’t been able to get a bus to Barnsley from Stanley for years, when the 446 (I think) used to run there.

For those thinking this is a good move, I fail to understand how it is until they can make sure their website actually contains the correct timetables.
They've removed the correct timetables from my local stops and suggested people look on a website with incorrect timetables on it.

If people are put off using the bus because they can't find out the times, they're unlikely to come back when Covid is over.

One half of Braford Road (by Batley Park) had the October 19 tinetables (Birstall bound) and the other side had Feb 2020 timetables. The timetables hadnt been getting updated regularly for a good while now

Transdev removed all timetables and put in a safe to travel poster with the stop number showing for mobile phone users to look up times.

There's a couple of bus stops near where I live in Garforth still showing timetables for the X26/X27 which was withdrawn here in December last year!
