One thing I've noticed on Arriva's bustimes fleet list is that there are some buses operating non-existant routes X5 (usually Heckmondwike based buses) and X15 (usually Castleford based). It says this in the overall fleetlist as in the journey that the bus last operated, but if you go into the page of the day's bus operations, it doesn't show any such route.
It's probably just an error but I was wondering if there may be any history to it.

I see That DAF 723 has worked the last 2 days on 110's Certainly WONT be 723 operating it. More likely it will be the ticket machine that was last assigned to 723 that has been placed on another and not had its identity changed to the correct vehicle ! Penfold

Interesting that they seem to be using the Volvo B9TL Darwens to operate the 415. I’m sure there’s a reason. Is it me or do they feel bigger inside than the Wright Geminis?

If you're talking about the Olympians (YJ08 EE_ series), then they do feel quite bigger. Possibly due to the larger front window, and the bus feels a lot wider. Maybe that it's darker contributes to it. I'm quite shocked that they're using these too, but maybe the Geminis were at the back of the depot and they're just using the buses at the front.

Thanks DLS.. I’m sure you are right about the reasons why the feel bigger... probably less tapered at the front so seem wider. Just assumed they had a lot more Geminis (1500) than Darwens (1800s) but there could be something in your parking theory I guess.

Just assumed they had a lot more Geminis (1500) than Darwens (1800s) but there could be something in your parking theory I guess. The VDL Geminis (1500-1552) have a seating capactiy of 70 plus about 20 standees where as the East Lancs Olympus (1800-1815) have a seating capcity of 80 plus 15 standees. The East Lancs Lowlanders (1600-1613) and the 58 reg e400s (1900-1913) also have the same capacity as the Olympus whereas the 15 reg e400s (1914-1947) have 2 people less. I'm unsure of the capacities of the hybrid Geminis (1700-1721), the e400MMCs (1948-1984) and the Streetdecks. So on the original question the Olympus has that slightly bigger capacity than the VDL Geminis

The hybrids are 66 seats, Streetdecks 74 seats, MMC's 73 seats

bustimes is acting very strange It's saying that the 188 doesn't exist and that the route that goes Wakefield-Kirkthorpe and on to Knottingley is the 187

Looks like 1473 might have 1311's ticket machine as on Bus times 1473 is being tracked as 1311, and when 1311 was last in use 1311 was being tracked being on 2 different routes at the same time, 1311 on one and 1473 on the other.

791-794 now showing on fleet list there's 795 to follow unless it goes to Elland Might as well move all of the batch to Castleford. Keep them all together instead of splitting one up. One can be used as a spare sapphire bus in case one is off the road or breaks down

794 has been added to Arriva Yorkshire's fleet list 791-794 now showing on fleet list Until they are actually seen in service and with what livery, I’d that with a pinch of salt, as bustimes.org isn’t an official resource and can be edited by anyone

Yes but you can add a note onto the edit and could say 'this vehicle is now in service with Arriva at x depot'

I doubt they are in Sapphire livery considering they were tracked still operating in Bradford only last week though

I doubt they are in Sapphire livery considering they were tracked still operating in Bradford only last week though One of them has been on the Belle Isle Staff Shuttles as well. When the versa's come to Castleford next week they will just send one bus at a time to get Sapphire spec/livery to St Helens or wherever it is
