How come 1453 isn't listed in that fleet? On that link? Has something happened to this bus? Haven't seen it for ages

I am in Castleford and Pontefract 5 days a week and I have never seen it for quite a while. I'm probably thinking it's either getting it's LEZ stuff done or it's had an accident.

You could see the positives of Arriva Yorkshire now being added to this site, rather than nit picking over a couple of buses. If they see service, they’ll automatically get added to the list anyway.

Have any Arriva vehicles been seen on the map? Arriva buses are now on the map, Yorkshire Tiger too. Must have only appeared in the last few hours though. Cant see any streetdecks by fleet number but there is a suspicious AYK SPWA heading towards Leeds city centre at the moment. 262,703 & 1453 are all now also on the fleet list too.

AYK SPWA must be a spare ticket machine as 916 had it when Arriva gained Ticketer machines

Looks like Arriva have been taken back off as they're not showing on the maps Tiger and Arriva are both appearing and then going back off. This is due to someone doing tests with these. Next week, they should hopefully be on there and working properly.

Gotta admit this is fantastic to use. I know now which bus I will be getting home from work haha. I can see any unusual workings too.

There are 11 zoom levels of which 4 show the stops. I notice that Arriva have a different setup than many of the other companies on the system so far. Selecting a vehicle gives you the option of seeing the times of that vehicle on its routes, rather than taking you to the map as with most other companies. Choosing a route gives you ability to see all the vehicles and the route on the map. Are any major operators apart from First absent from the system?

As it works off the ticket machine it is not 100% accurate as it depends on the ticket machine being corrected to the vehicle it is now located in. The bustimes site uses it to generate a fleetlist noting when the service the vehicle worked but plainly has issues as there are some vehicles, admittedly of other operators that apparently, and incorrectly, have not been in use for a while or instances such a school bus allegedly have been used on a principal route.

Seems to work the same for other operators too Try this - click on any Arriva/Tiger vehicle and click on registration. New screen shows journeys today along with a 'Times' button for each journey. Repeat for any Transdev vehicle and you get a 'Map' button for each journey. The subsequent 'Map' display often shows many real journeys under the one entry, suggesting that the driver has not told the machine that it is starting a new journey. Particularly true on today's 36 Leeds-Ripon route.

What I like about this if a bus switches routes during the day then it picks these changes up which is nice.

It was out this morning on a 117 Penfold What's up with 1020? Hopefully the first one to go for scrap haha? Why would a 14 reg bus go for scrap? very unlikely It seems like everyone is just using this as a page to ask the question of when was ..... last seen, having gone down the list on the busTimes site and looking for the "oldest" last seen vehicle.... Kinda pointless, given that these vehicles could be just off road due to being spares and not required etc....

Ticketers will often be taken off these machine and/or they will not be live due to these works being carried out etc, so will not be traced on the system neither !. Penfold
