I might have to justify myself on here as sometimes I don't feel very wanted or feel appreciated on here, or some of the older members dislike me. I want members to know my background a lot more to know who I am and the way I conduct sometimes is because what I am. I am very autistic, I am on the spectrum. I have dreadful social skills and find it really hard to fit in to the forum, and some members might dislike because of what I do. I am also very sensitive and get upset when I get criticized or people shout at me for asking a question. Also with me being autistic, I have a hobby that I am obsessed with and that is buses. I feel at times particular the older members might not appreciate me or like me because of what I am like and the type of posts I do in the forum. Like I post a lot of buses in the spotting thread of unusual workings. I get really scared to ask a question because I am scared a member might have a go at me for asking a question. I am one of the younger members here on the forum. Sometimes I get really upset and worried on a question that I may ask, because the ones in industry or any member might get annoyed with me for asking the question. I don't have a lot of friends in the world, I have lost of a lot of communities because of the way I am. I don't want this to be another one. I usually type a question out in a post, and then usually delete it because I get scared of the answers. You might have noticed a lot of my posts are edited on the forum and that is because I am constantly changing the response to make sure I get a polite and not sarcastic manner. I have felt like this for a few weeks now and just wanted to get it out of my head and to let you guys know about the type of posts I do and why sometimes I get anxious to post things on here. I want to improve my knowledge on here, I really do. Sometimes I just feel like I annoy members or they dislike me when I ask questions. For those who want to say Get a Grip, and grow up. Do you understand what it's like to be autistic? Do you understand how they struggle with communication and social skills and how they are sensitive? Please do research on the condition before you try and criticize me. Please don't have a go at me, if you want to keep it to yourself. I want positive comments and people to be positive. All I want to know is I hope that members on here appreciate me for who I am and understand the way I am and the way I post sometimes. I wanted to justify who I am, because some members might not know what I am like. I hope you get more background on me and I hope this will make it easier on the forum going forward, because I've been thinking to leave the forum because I don't want to annoy anyone and get upset when I ask a question. It's taken me a long while to get this off my chest and I just wanted to open up that is all and hope you appreciate it to for me to open up.

Hi Kallum. I'd just like to say well done for speaking up and letting us know all about yourself. My 21 year old son is autistic, so I completely appreciate where you are coming from and what you say about social skills and being obsessive. Please don't be afraid to ask questions - sometimes people will jump on you if they think the answer is really obvious without thinking that not everybody is as knowledgeable as they are, but I don't think people very often get truly annoyed. Having worked in a customer service role, we had a catchphrase to remember that I think you would do well to bear in mind: there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! I look forward to seeing you around on here some more, and hope you continue to enjoy your hobby.

Hi Kallum. Sorry I missed your first post in this thread. I'm a Liverpool supporter but please don't hold that against me! It was good to see your post earlier this evening. As 'Leeds Rider' said, you should post whatever you like and ask any questions you want. By answering questions we learn more. And because it's all on the forum, we all learn. Carry on posting!
