Do you think there will ever be a time when the Metro timetables for First services dont continue to reflect the defunct Overground colours.
I assume Metro are just carrying on as they were, but you’d have thought First might suggest they use some more up to date colours like LeedsCity, HD Connect, Calder Connect etc., especially as I believe that First pay a premium for multi coloured timetables above and beyond the normal colours.
Also they need to update the Leeds city centre maps, as despite being up to date in terms of bus stops served, they still have Leeds Shopping Plaza and The Headrow Centre on them.
Don’t complain too loudly though as they could axe printed timetables altogether.

Timetables have simplified I saw the x26/x27 bus timetable and you could think it was a regular bus service not a Thorpe park exclusive service. I’m sure on the first bus website, colours are still used on their local map.

WYCA are proposing to stop printing bulk volumes of printed bus timetables, moving to a digital first strategy www.wymetro.com/corporate/news/releases/bus-information-strategy-to-reflect-people-s-requirements-by-putting-digital-first/The full document is here westyorkshire.moderngov.co.uk/documents/s11120/Item%206%20Bus%20Information%20Strategy.pdf which suggests Digital – consider linking to customers on wymetro.com to third party journey planner tools (eg Traveline or Google) rather than the current bespoke tool.
On the Network – adopt a new approach to signposting people to bus services initially in Leeds funded though Connecting Leeds but extended to other towns and cities. Tailor the provision of information provided at bus stops to customer need.
Face-to-face – refurbishment of Travel Centres to adopt the self-service approach used in retail banking
Print – develop printed timetable provision to replace current booklets. Responsibility for printed material promoting bus services, including timetables will be with the bus operator. The Combined Authority will remain responsible for network wide printed information.

There weren't even any maps on display at Halifax or Huddersfield bus stations last Saturday. Maybe these have been discontinued now.

There weren't even any maps on display at Halifax or Huddersfield bus stations last Saturday. Maybe these have been discontinued now. A few years ago, Metro announced that the printed versions of the district maps were to be stopped, updates only appearing in the online versions. But shortly after, the maps reappeared, though I suspect they don't print as many so there may be a shortage.

As mentioned elsewhere, Metro's railway timetables have already been dropped. "Replacements" published by the train companies have not generally been favourably received.
Examples of information no longer shown:
Full service Bradford Forster Square to Shipley.
Full service Leeds to York.
