Reality I can’t see these E400s moving to Halifax until some more new Euro 6 buses arriving. But as First mysteriously cancelled the order and the remaining stock that was built went to Diamond Bus North West for their Bolton operations. But this is first group anything is possible. They haven't cancelled the order?

2 what? I was under the understanding that they could only have the ADL's on the guideways due to the new Wrights being unsuitable for the guideways Streetdecks

Two Streetdecks were fitted with guidewheels and have been tested at Millbrook and in Leeds, IIRC, with a view to using a future batch on the guideway services (which are going to have to be upgraded to meet the CAZ anyway).

The bit I don't get, though - if the Streetdecks have been cancelled at Leeds (which I'm still sceptical about - I'm more expecting amendments to the vehicles now built and waiting delivery at Ballymena), what on earth is releasing these E400s to Halifax? There certainly don't appear to be enough cuts elsewhere to release enough vehicles, unless I'm missing something really obvious. Did a full like for like number of buses leave Bramley’s fleet when they receive their green Streetdecks?

Apologies, this is irrelevant to this thread but couldnt find anywhere else relevant - Does anyone know what the purpose is for the works in LBS - looks like they are widening the stands - I presume this is to accommodate wider vehicles?

3378/9 have entered service in Halifax, and one of the posters on First bus enthusiasts page hints that there are actuallyv4 or 5 now at Halifax. Got to say though that the small Halifax skyline don't look right on the photos.

It's 30953 that's transferred with 30949 not 52.
