Think the same would apply to Castleford & Dewsbury, therefore making Heckmondwike the best place for them - same as the B10M Deckers (& Arrows ?) a few years back.

I was talking to an Heckmondwike inspector today about the Presidents, and he told me, that management, don't want them to stray on to other routes. They have the height indicator showing 14" 6, which means, it can go on any Heckmondwike route

I imagine it could go to Selby? Seen as thats where the original AY Presidents spent most of their working life.. The original batch that Arriva Yorkshire had were the low height variation that were less than 14' tall, whereas, the 2 Heckmondwike now have are the full height variation at 14' 6.

Do you think we will see tempos leaving Cas in the near future? I hope we keep them, as I really love them with the right driver. I've been on a tempo where the driver has floored it and it was superb. Also, how come you can open the door before the bus stops on a tempo? I saw a driver do it, but even though the commanders are older you can't?

1606 & 1610 have returned to Heckmondwike today from Wakefield. This is to allow the commencement of Euro 6 exhaust mods on the Heckmondwike fleet. 1529 & 1540 being the first.

I think they are. 1606 & 1610 were part of the fleet movement plan taking place when the new Streetdecks arrive at Wakefield, but they went straight away when the Presidents arrived, so technically, we didn't have 2 spares anymore. Now they are back, we have 2 "pool" vehicles.
