Since, Arriva North East are starting withdrawing the cadets, do you think they will come down to Yorkshire, to provide back up?

2 Presidents from Arriva North West now arrived (4162 - LJ51 DLZ & 4182 - LJ51 DLV) with 4162 parked at Heckmondwike depot. These 2 are on 4 month loan covering buses that are going to be converted to Euro 6 to comply with Leeds City Council's Clean Air Zone (CAZ) coming into force next year.

Selby depot had sent Sapphires to ferry around drunken racegoers in York today so the 415 was treated to the charms of a Lowlander, a mk1 Pulsar and - for the first time ever in Selby that I'm aware of - a Tempo.
Why waste good buses on the racecourse shuttle rather than keeping them on the services used by regular passengers all year round that they are supposed to be on?

Unusual there being a Tempo being at Selby. I've seen a Tempo at Selby before covering a few years ago on the 403 due to breakdowns. In all fairness anything goes anywhere at Selby - The majority of the B9's at Selby that were refurbed for the 403 although seem to spend more time on other routes...
Dont think the pulsars and the lowlanders will be at Selby for much longer thankfully

Money talks and these drunken race goers make them shuttle buses a lot of money.

I thought it was all commanders and Optare Solo SR's? Where would the remaining pulsars go? Another depot or up for sale?

Believe Selby used to occasionally see Tempo’s when they shared the 492/493 with Castleford, if their vehicle broke down overnight at Castleford, so replaced by a Tempo in the morning.

What's replacing them new long versions of the enviro 200 perhaps? New buses for Selby? Don't be silly ... Well, maybe for the 415, but don't expect them for anything else. More likely that they will be replaced by something 10+ years old that has been shuffled round from elsewhere.

Maybe they could send the commanders to Castleford, so all the 57 plate commanders are all together? In exchange for 1450-1455?

The 2 presidents out in service now then? No not yet 4162 DAF President, just left Dewsbury on 268 to Bradford. Been a long time, since a President did 268, back then it was Volvo (687-9/91-6)
