I wonder if that's where 1480 has gone, hasn't been seen lately, I wonder if that is getting ready for the leeds clean air zone. I know Castleford have moved the tempos on to routes where it doesn't serve Leeds. Someone said the tempos arent getting the thing for leeds clean Air Zone Yeah I noticed Tempos are on 156/159/187/408/409 a lot nowadays whereas they used to be quite common on the 167/168.
Pulsars keep disappearing out of service for a few days/weeks at a time recently, ie 1466, so maybe that's being upgraded. Been told the Tempos can’t be converted for the Leeds LEZ zone so will be confined to 408/9 mainly and other services that don’t go into Leeds so watch this space from April with the changes coming to Selby and Castleford

I might as well say goodbye to them

Castleford can have some pulsars bin return

Optare tempo 1309 now in Selby depot Haven't seen it in Cas for a fair while. Is this a temp or a Permanent move? Not a fan of 1309. Not one of the best tempos I've ridden on tbf.

The Bradford deckers were here for Half Term P&R extras/Flood alleviation duties.

The one that no-one seems to have mentioned recently is AY Darwen 1815 which has been away from BI for several months. From what I gather it was sent away for an engine rebuild in the North East but every time it made it made its way back South there were problems with its engine and returned back North.
Last unconfirmed sighting seems to have been at CA a few months ago but has not been seen recently. There were rumours that it may never return to AY.
Anyone have any reports or sightings recently ?

Penfold last time i saw 1815 was beginning of January. Do we also know what's happened to 916 as that was last in use around the same time 1815 was last used plus is 260 going to be coming back into service or is that getting used as spares for 261 & 262

Both engine & gearbox on 260 have had it hence its withdrawl at YT. All still parked at the back of BI Penfold

Id have thought that 260 would have been too young to be given the axe

Selby’s 1600’s have now swapped with the 1300’s as of this lunch time Is this a permanent move? I wonder what Cas would need with the Lowlanders? You cant put them on the 167/168 exactly. They're just gonna be used on Doncasters and Ferry Frystons. Are lowlanders low enough on the 409/408? I heard there's a low bridge somewhere on those routes? Unless these are all going on the 410/411?

408/9 suppose to be moving to Selby and this is permanent That is gonna be very interesting indeed. When the timetables get back to normal, how is the 187 going to work? That should be interesting, as the 187 interworks with the 408/409. Unless they are putting lowlanders on the 187
